The digital circus was a waste of potential.
Since the start of the amazing digital circus it became a massive hit. The strange combination of I have no mouth and i must scream's concept with the nostalgic 90's computer's aesthetic was something that would catch the attention of anyone who's interested in psychological horror. It had the potential of being those shows that left you with an existential crisis for weeks, and it did. After each episode i was super interested in the characters development and how it was gonna be written and represented.
That was until episode 5, that instead of leaving me with the uncertainty of what would i do if was trapped in a digital simulation, it left me with the curiosity of how is the interpersonal drama between the characters was gonna be in the next episode.
And you alredy know who started that.
Since Jax started to show a more vulnerable side, people (including me) started to get more interested on her. But sadly they overdeveloped her, at the point were almost 40 minutes of the 50 we had left to enjoy the show WERE FOCUSED ON HER. You don't know how DISSAPOINTED i got when it turned out that one colored scene of Gangle was part of Jax's interpretation.
It's so dissapointing how the rest of the characters were reduced to a simple concept.
Ragatha: The cheerful, traumatized punching bag of the plot.
Gangle: The poor princess in distress that needs her knight to show her that she's worthy.
Zooble: The sassy one who says the truth at Jax's face to make her remind the shitty person she is.
Kinger: The poor widower who guides the characters.
And the worst of all, Pomni.
She was the one with the BEST potential because she was a canvas in blank that could've been painted in SO many ways. But noooo, let's make her the therapy dog of the fuckass rabbit.
Now, lets talk about Jax.
She isn’t deep, she's just too based on a real human being.
And you could say "You don't even know gooseworx, how do you know they are like that?" Just by seeing her Twitter is enough.

And why not? Being mysoginistic.
I know that those are really basic points but for god's SAKE. To make a good self-insert you should put the characteristics you wanna work on or you like on yourself.
DON'T HAVE SELF PITY OVER YOURSELF OR TRY TO MAKE LOOK THE CHARACTER LIKE THE "COOL AND DEEP ONE".
It's not only cringe, it's so fucking pathetic.
What im triying to say is that as a fan since the october of 2023, im so happy that the digital circus is over. And gooseworx really needs a break from the internet and their most famous project.
