have been waiting for weeks for them red leaves to come and get that perfect fall weather for my new dream.

was actually a good thing because i revamped my house in the meantime and i'm very happy about it.

what do you mean they dropped a surprise animal crossing update out of nowhere after saying they wouldn't do anymore free updates. WHAT DO YOU MEAN they just casually dropped multiple crafting without even mentioning it. what do you mean we have creative mode AND have multiple save slots that we can decorate with friends now. and resetti has a new job where he literally helps reset and flatten your island. never kill yourself

saw an absolutely hilarious animal crossing theory that i now 100% accept and it’s that in the animal crossing world, humans are going extinct, and so all the animals have locked you in an elaborate zoo enclosure and are trying to give you enrichment. and that’s why they give you infinite pointless tasks, hide money in trees and rocks, invented debt that doesnt matter etc. it’s why they always act so happy to see you even after you raze the entire island, relocate their houses twice, and always act so pleased about your choices no matter what. it’s all to keep their little endangered human healthy and enriched. and thinking of it this way has genuinely improved my experience of the game

me, this morning: i don't remember how the dream code thing works, i haven't updated my dream in a long time lemme try it quickly so i don't miss the right time i want to save my dream to.

me: *saves new dream*

luna, when i'm trying to save my dream again at the right time of the day with the beautiful sunset light: i can only save one dream a day.

me, who waited the entire day and who did not remember that: what the fuck are you telling me right now? i waited for nothing? i have to wait another day???

me, two hours later: WAIT I CAN CHEAT TIME.

i'm almost done with the remodeling of my island and once it's done i'll finally be able to share my island dream code here. should be done tomorrow if everything grows according to keikaku.

me: how do people make these designs? how do they get these colors together with the limited palettes?

also me: *realizes four years later that there's a tool to change the palettes' colors*

(don't get me wrong, i had seen the icon, i had just never spared more than one (1) millisecond thinking about it also never used it before)
