There was a young boy, around the age of 10 dressed in a smart black dress shirt, smart trousers and shoes. He appeared to be lost but it didn't seem to bother him. He knocked at Hank's door and when he opened it, the child's posture straightened on instinct. "Excuse me, sir, I'm lost and I don't know where home is." His tone carried formality and a sense of maturity to it, one not usually found in a child.

It wasn’t often if at all that someone knocked on Hank’s door these days. When Cole was alive his friend’s would sometimes come by to ask if the boy would play but even then that was it. So when he heard a knock he let out a curse as he pulled himself off the couch. He was surprised to see a child of all people at his door. And then sent a silent thanks to God, the universe, whoever that he hadn’t been drinking for once.“Do you know your address kiddo? Or a phone number we can call to let yer mom or dad know where you are?” Got someone who was just moments ago annoyed at being disturbed at home and generally usually gruff and grumpy his voice was very soft. He was always soft spoken and calmer around kids.((Feel free to continue this in a thread if you want but please tag my new multi @anderson-residence since I’m going to be moving Hank over there soon!))

Hank looked Connor over, not believing the other was okay...the question was how bad it really was and should Hank start going into ‘all hand on deck panic’ mode yet or not. “It doesn’t seem ‘all fine’ to me, kid. If yer so okay then why won’t you look at me?”
