Has anyone got the “Lost in the Shadows” book? Is it worth it? I’ve given up on owning the novelization- I am not paying that.

I got a lot of the behind the scenes books for The Outsiders and enjoy those, but idk if TLB has the same level of curation or its sort of basic facts?

I don’t particularly know much about half vampire lore generally, beyond the bare basics of it being a reversible half state in 80s movies. (As it is different from older style drained people, not yet turned like in Dracula. It’s not really a half state just dying.)

But the concept of Star being a hippie run away in the 60s… maybe even knowing Lucy for a brief moment is so good to me.

Star hasn’t taken a life herself/killed - for TLB lore as long as it’s not done yourself you’re still half. I like the idea of her being in this young half state for a pretty long time… until Michael…
