I haven't been active on Tumblr since I was in the HTTYD fandom when the second movie was about to come out. That was a funny time; such great memories. I heard about the live-action movie, and I sort of look forward to seeing the trailer so I can see if it looks any good, especially Toothless and the other dragons. I guess that's the tricky part with making a live-action HTTYD movie. Don't know when it comes out though, not next year, right?

honestly tv is really dead. I’m tired of streaming services making those 8 episodes shows that never get the chance to have more seasons after making the audience invested in the characters and also making the cast and creators uncertain and anxious about getting the chance to go back to another season. I miss when we had actual shows with multiple seasons in production from the start to keep the interest going, this format of not quite a show but also not a limited series fucking sucks and I feel so bad for everyone that works for these streamings

Saw a reddit post today about a girl who was upset that her childhood best friend replaced a photo of the two of them in his wallet with one of him and his girlfriend. And while yeah, she was being unreasonable with a lot of what she was saying, I totally understand the sadness of a friend "replacing" you with someone they have romantic feelings for. Makes it worse when the top comment is this

Every single comment on this post is about how family and romantic relationships always take precedence over friendships. I don't have anything more to say to this aside from the fact that... this is why it's hard for aroaces to imagine futures for themselves.
