Someone messaged me on reddit about not being able to find Rover Red. I told them that it wasn't hosted any where because I didn't want to pay for hosting. Attempting to escape could work to simply save Leah, but it could also eliminate any hope for a friendship/alliance with Byrd.

Let’s not take his place. I mean? I could maybe see it working- but is Byrd that attached to Leah yet? I don’t think so.

I personally think mercy is a bad idea , but. It’s an option I could see Leah choosing. But would Byrd follow that logic?

I lean towards one. But there’s a lot mentioned there. And I don’t necessarily agree with all of it. And I don’t like micromanaging Leah….

I'm stuck this go round... Thinking anything that involves touching the flowers is out, but I don't have an actual helpful suggestion ..... anyone?

Y'all may want to read Darkness Blooms before submitting ballot options… just saying. Be informed Council members! (It’s a short novella type thing. Totally doable.)

My thoughts: 1- ahahahaha bad idea. (I mean it could end up surprising us because, Bloodworth. But. Common sense from what we know says NO. 2- Homegirl needs to figure the silt out. But this is NOT THE TIME. Also no mention of controlling the bleeding or treating the wounds. 3- First- I like it. I support it. I want very much to see it. I half believe Bloodworth would let it happen…..Go team wildcard! But. It seems like it could end bad… but it might not? 4- This seems like the safest option. We’re told in the prequels she’s got a survival kit. Chances are, Rovers will have bandages or something that can help. I mean, they silting rove. Alone. So… if not I want to bitchslap whoever made the kit. Also if the chip can control the turbine , I bet it can summon it too.

I figured it could be handy when prepping for s2, discussing ballot options in the future and what not.. (if we don’t kill Leah.)

I’d add a bunch more different ones to my own personal list , but they’re a bit troll-y and steeped in head canons… so. Didn’t make it to this list.

Thoughts!

1- Would this work? It would definitely illicit some sort of reaction … possible death one? There’s major history there- and we don’t know what it is. 2- This could work. We know that official deals aren’t easy to break or exploit. EVIE could help us. 3- Likely won’t kill Leah. But. Famine doesn’t have much tech. . There are the people with eyes in the crowd…. Does she have any Conquest tech in her? Could this backfire and hurt Leah, and be a total trap? 4- We’ve had it hinted that demanding things of Ricketts would have gotten us killed before . That’s likely not changed. This is almost certainly a death option.

2 is out. Cover of darkness won’t help Leah . And BW often picks at least one “trap” option.

There’s a good chance that this will be the death option. Because…. silt.

3 is mine, but I think we should relisten to 10.0.

Did Sasha say Leah needed to go directly to the capital, or just directly to famine?

For reference, since they mix up the options for every vote, here’s what Tina’s referring to:

1 is “go directly to capitol.”

2 is “learn and blend in under cover of darkness.” (My option. Should have worded it better.)

3 is “use the man searching for his daughter as cover.”

Adding, Sasha said if she went directly to Famine, Joelene couldn’t activate the trackers.

So that’s something.

using some random man’s hypothetical daughter as cover sounds REALLY shifty to me right now. learning to blend in might help, but i can see how that can easily go south quick. :/

‘do-not-pass-go-head-directly-to-capitol’ seems the safest to me. i’m gonna give the episode another listen before i vote tho i’m nervous 😰

But my problem with that…

Famine had a skyscraper toppled and a noble killed by a rover.

They’re going to be suspicious of any rovers.

If she gets stopped by someone- and doesn’t have a planned story….

I love Leah. But she is a bad, bad liar. So I’m afraid of what happens in that case.

Full disclosure. Man and his kid as cover is my option.

But I am all for the other if we decide is best.

But she doesn’t have to help, or even know the guy. Could say she heard the rumor and is here to help. Or something .

Okay. Pros and cons of each, GO.

OPTION 1: Do not go to the city and go directly to the capitol instead, avoiding any citizens you see. It is imperative that you do not put yourself in harm’s way in achieving this objective.

Pros:

•Joelene can’t activate the box thing if she goes directly to the capitol.

•There’s less danger of being attacked by famine citizens (for toppling the skyscraper or just because of the rover red designation.

Cons:

•She doesn’t get to learn about famine culture, and that might be important.

OPTION 2: Scout out the crowds of the Famine city under cover of darkness. Learn from them. Use what you learn to blend in to the crowd and learn what you can about current activity in Famine.

Pros:

•You learn about famine culture.

Cons:

•Everyone is nocturnal, so this option is pretty much out. She’ll be found immediately.

•As E.V.i.E. pointed out, she won’t fit in as a citizen due to her small build.

OPTION 3: There’s a man in Famine looking for a Rover to help him find his daughter. Use that as your cover, if anyone asks why you’re in Famine. Don’t give them you’re real name, and have E.V.i.E. help you act like a run of the mill Rover.

Pros:

•You get to learn about Famine culture, which is very important.

•Call it intuition, but this sounds like a good way to rebuild trust w Leah–we know things that she doesn’t (about the man) and we can help her.

Cons:

•Leah isn’t the best liar, and the citizens will be suspicious of all Rovers.

•There are a lot of unknowns that could go wrong.

I submitted the do-not-pass-go option and I think it’s probably the best, but here’s basically everything.

FRICK, Y'ALL. FRICK. I just saw on the discord about the voting results. Please please p l e a s e STOP voting for #1. PLEASE. I submitted it bc I thought that Leah could be wily enough to keep her mouth shut long enough for the message to go through but now that skyweb has been activated, that is no longer an option. Joelene will know. We need to stop and gather under a single option. I personally like 3 quite a bit, but given that everyone seems to like 5 more, I'll likely be voting for that.

Rover Council Vote

Some quick thoughts on our options:

1- messaging Joelene is a BAD MOVE. Veering off course is what put us in this situation . Also 2 out of 3 of the creative team have warned us Joelene is not easy to trick. Also in here , it says we weren’t aware of the deal. Idk if canon rover Council was- but we definitely knew. Do we want to risk lying?

2- Short and to the point. Touch emotionless, but.

3- a touch condescending , but not too bad. No worse than E.V.i.E., certainly.

4- sits funny with me. Not sure why.

5- short, sweet, with a little more heart than 2. Maybe our best bet?
