well i would for sure recommend violet beach and all the procyon podcasts, also ars paradoxica, and probably some others,,those are all my favs with lgbtq characters that i can think of, if anyone has anymore suggestions, tag them or something?

hey. if you’re not listening to my audio drama VIOLET BEACH yet, now’s the perfect time to catch up.

our third season is set to come out in a few weeks, and episodes are only about fifteen minutes long on average.

but bee, you ask, what’s it about?

it’s a soft-horror sci-fi dramadey, which is a lot of words mashed together, because genre is annoying. it centers on seven friends in their teens & twenties in a small maryland college town. when they start seeing weird occurrences all around them–bright purple skies or people who aren’t quite there or a really cute new girl at school who may or may not be a ghost–they start investigating. and while they might not be the heroes of the story, per se, they sure do want to know the truth.

it’s been compared to oxenfree, lost, and stranger things, among others.

do people like it?

yeah they do! we have 4.5 stars on itunes, and have been praised by wil williams reviews as “vulnerable… authentic… nostalgic.” radiopublic has called us a “fiction podcast to tune into right now” and an “indie to watch.”

is it gay?

i’ve never written a heterosexual character in my life.
