Welcome! This is my blog for art, costuming projects, writing, and other work; all my original posts are tagged, so they should be easy to find. I also like lots of nerd stuff, and enjoy cosplaying. I've been on tumblr since 2014, but I kept moving house to new blogs. I'm an archaeology student and doing my best to be a Mandalorian. I wish I could levitate specifically so I could lounge comfy style and take the ache out of my knees while I cook. There's no way for me to cook sitting down for long in my kitchen but my knees HUUUUURRRRRRRTTTT but so does my stomach so I gotta pick one of them to hurt more and one of them to soothe. Sigh

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

look, I can endure any kind of UI changes that are supposed to help tumblr-rookies to understand how this works. They may be a nuisance, but that's ok, we have x-kit or we can get used to buttons being here or there.

But this. This changes the data architecture. This changes the SINGLE THING that makes tumblr the "... yes and" website. This KILLS THE COLLABORATIVE POSTING THAT MAKES THIS SITE DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHER MEDIA PLATFORMS.

Please, don't do this. Please, don't ship this.

Well I feel a bit shit and have had a really bad spell of artist's block and writer's block bc I'm sad and exhausted but at least since I've started exercising my knees and back only hurt most of the time instead of all the time! So maybe they'll get even better. Gotta look on the bright side

It's really interesting to me getting such a long picture of Thrawn's life, and seeing how he just rots into such a decrepit, horrible person. It's nice to see his death play out at the hands of people he had wronged. I like to think that in vague connection to new canon, either another Noghri (perhaps from Rukh's clan) and/or Eli stab him (Eli is if we're playing by the canon divergent rules in my head, where Thrawn gets purrgiled, manages to claw his way to the border of the Ascendancy, and promptly gets exiled for real this time on pain of death because of how much he told Palpatine about the Chiss; and Eli, whose loyalty became to the Ascendancy because Thrawn asked him to go, Thrawn, whose main philosophy has been loyalty above all else, gets pissed at feeling so used among other things). But more than anything it's very important to me that Thrawn dies getting stabbed by people he treated as pawns after overestimating how far he could push them. I absolutely LOVE his death in The Last Command.

I can tell the workouts I've been doing have been working, because my arms are sore as shit today, fucking hell. I was supposed to do more arm exercises today but I only got through like half the ones I needed to do before I got worried I'd overwork something. And the muscles in them are tight as hell; clasping my hands behind my back or raising my arms above my head kinda hurts today. It's ouchies but it's nice to know there's some progress

I'm playing more Knights Of The Old Republic, and I'm on Manaan. I was talking to this mercenary, and note: years ago I spent a solid 5 months doing damn near nothing but watching and rewatching various Star Trek shows. Anyways so I was talking to this mercenary and within two lines of his I was saying, "Whoa, that guy sounds EXACTLY like Neelix. I bet it's the same actor" and I was just marveling at how exactly the voices matched. Ner burc'ya, meanwhile, decided to look it up, and yep. That's the guy that plays Neelix. Usually I don't recognise actors easily so I find it really funny that I got him from voice alone while he's playing a nervous Twi'lek
