Found myself drawn back to your "Her Majesty AU" and found myself wondering what Riku's KH3 design would look like rule 63'd in your style. And then I started picturing your rule 63'd Repliku cat-fighting rule 63'd Dark-Riku who is actually Repliku but in game they just call Dark-Riku.

Omg nostalgia ❤️ I'm bad at designing clothes, so for that AU I basically just swapped Kairi and Riku's outfits. So KH3 Riku would probably just have a dress similar to KH3 Kairi's but in the Riku color scheme 🤔

And people really do try to interact with fandom like consumers! They want « content ». They act like they can get a refund on reading a fic they don’t like. They add fanfics to goddamned goodreads without a second thought without realizing that’s as ridiculous as adding your friend’s dining room as a restaurant on yelp just so you can post a review about it

Fandom is literally the place people go to be enthusiastically crazy about their blorbos! There are no normal people here!

Finally finished reading Project Hail Mary after like 4 years of trying, and can stop averting my eyes from movie spoilers. Checking the tumblr tag, I have now learned that Iron Lung is also a space movie apparently.

The neat thing about having bought this book immediately is that apparently I have a first edition, first print copy. Which I only learned because I fell down a rabbit hole while looking for something else. Learning be upon ye!

For all its faults Tumblr has truly ruined all other social media for me because my friends all have Instagram and are all trying to get me on Instagram more but every time I open Instagram there are like fifteen things screaming for my attention and when I get over myself long enough to start scrolling it's like. Where is my chronological dash. Where is the following-only option. Who are these people. Why are there so many videos. Everyone is screaming at me. And then before I know it I'm thirty minutes into scrolling and I haven't seen a single thing that I actually care about. At least on Tumblr when I see stuff I don't care about I know someone I follow has found a new interest.

i HAVE to stop looking at shelter cats until i'm moved but BUNNY

bunny is still there and apparently hasn't been adopted because she's very skittish and shy but so AM I

i assume they don't put cats on layaway but i might go this weekend to see if i can say hi, at least. and then bring her home on, like, june 5th when i'm all moved and settled if she's still there.

i would have been more specific if i knew this would blow up but i went to see bunny that weekend and she immediately reached her head out for me to pet her even though she never let strangers touch her and i ended up rushing to petsmart to buy a carrier and immediately take her back to my parents' house until i moved

she now waits in the shadows to run and jump into my lap every single time i sit down and says thank you for all your kind words in the tags

ok so this is another long shot but a few years ago there was a twitter post (in japanese i think?) that had measurememts for how to make this book stand thing out of cardboard that you could use to double up books and use up more space on shelves

back then i made a bunch of these but by now i lost the pic and dont know how to find the original post anymore

if it comes down to it i can just take one apart and get the measurements from there but i would be very grateful if anyone happens to have the original post or something similar??

don't mind how long it's been since i made this post, anyway i realized that i don't even need to take one apart to get the measurements when i can literally just unfold it and refold it /FACEPALM

so anyway here is the diagram for anyone else who is interested!!

this requires pretty big carboard pieces, if you have a really big box or something you can make it from one piece, but if you don't, you can also just make each of the pieces individually and then tape them together

and then in the end you put it together like this!!

and then when you make a bunch you can put them all next to each other and stack your books like crazy
