About to watch a Tchaikovsky performance at the Royal Albert Hall. :-) It is prom week this week and tickets are only 6 quid.. It's so heartwarming to see homeless people here too. While I was at Gullfoss in Iceland, we wandered down onto an ice bank over the waterfall, (not recommended and yes it was dangerous and illegal.... Yet one of the most beautiful moments in my life).. After trekking for a while along here, I found this on the floor.. Obviously it had been thrown into the waterfall a while ago and then chucked back out again.. Moving on further east now after staying in this cute little wooden cabin near Skaftafell for the last couple of nights.. :-) literally a stones throw from a lagoon with icebergs and bobbing seals everywhere, another black sand beach, and an illibillimillisquillion mountains, not to mention the aurora going totally nuts last night!! (You can see a few remnants of it in the photo.) This whole country is like a dream...
