Classic cover by L. B. Cole from Great Comics #1, published by Novack, 1945.
I love the idea of a roomba topography map being the jumping on point for a liminal horror story. House of Leaves II: Roomba.
Superhero comics do too many revamps where they restart numbering the issues starting from one again. If I was running DC comics, I would do a storyline where Mister Mxyzptlk warps reality to create a series of like three or four Superman #1s in a row and Superman has to figure out how to deal with a continually re-set continuity in order to stop him.

ALICE art by French illustrator/filmmaker/artist/etc, etc, Roland Topor (1938-1997).
Illustrations by Maria Bubleva for a 1989 Russian—Soviet—edition of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. I love the dreamlike colors.
Alice meets the Caterpillar. Illustrated by:
Gwynedd M. Hudson (1922); WH Walker (1907);
Blanche McManus (1899); Harry Rountree (1908);
Gertrude Kay (1923); Bessie Pease Gutmann (1907).
Bonus: a storyboard panel from the Disney version (by Bill Peet).

I made some weird little watercolor and gouache paintings for a sci-fi-themed exhibition. I was miles out of my comfort zone and some of my paintings were Quite Bad but I had fun
