Estuve trabajando en este Morfeo, de The Sandman, pero lo dejé un poco apartado para otros proyectos y lo he ido terminando en ratitos libres. Quería dejarle el rostro de Tom Sturridge a este fanart, con un traje estrellado que me recuerda a un arte clásico de los cómics. En lo personal he amado la serie de The Sandman, no le tenía demasiada fe y me ha sorprendido para bien. Quería que tuviera esos rasgos algo peligrosos, que creo que es lo que atrae de Hawke, esa mirada directa e inescrutable. El pequeño hoyuelo marcado —que sólo es totalmente visible cuándo sonríe— y una pequeña barba incipiente de dos días, porque siempre me lo he imaginado así, con un poquito de vello facial. Ahora me queda como pendiente dibujar a Kieran 💙 Lo tengo en mi lista de personajes pendientes y creo que voy a disfrutar mucho de dibujarlo. Pero mientras tanto, espero que te guste mi interpretación de Hawke 😊⁣ ⁣ I've thought about how to draw Hawke a thousand times, because I wanted to literally get him out of my head 🤣 Poppy describes him as young and straight-nosed, honey-gold eyes and dark hair. I wanted him to have those slightly dangerous traits, which I think is what draws you to Hawke, that direct, inscrutable gaze. The small marked dimple —which is only fully visible when he smiles— and a small two-day stubble, because I've always imagined him that way, with a little facial hair. Now I still have to draw Kieran 💙 I have him on my list of pending characters and I think I'm going to really enjoy drawing him. Ilustración personal de hace un par de meses. Una práctica buscando soltar un poco la mano y dibujar con trazos más sueltos, jugando con la posición anatómica facial. Me di cuenta que no la había subido por una especie de presión/ansiedad generada por las redes sociales. Así que, qué tal si hablamos de lo peligroso que puede llegar a ser basar tu avance personal en los me gusta, comentarios, y en general la opinión de las redes sociales. En mi opinión no deberíamos basar nuestros avances en validaciones que duran, en algunas ocasiones, unos pocos segundos. Spoiler: yo también he caído en ello, como muchos de los grandes artistas que admiramos y seguimos. A veces creo que de cierta forma nos vemos a nosotros mismos como creadores masivos de contenido, y nos centramos duramente en que todo lo que hagamos tiene que estar mejor, mejor y mejor. Porque sino, nuestro trabajo caerá en picado.⁣ Llegados a este punto la mejor opción es respirar. Si estás pasando por un momento similar, coge aire nuevo, busca inspiración, ve películas, lee, relaciónate con otros artistas, desconecta de Instagram el tiempo que necesites... Son la pareja más conocida de la saga de libros de ACOTAR de @therealsjmaas ⁣ Quería hacer un arte sutil para todos los públicos, así que decidí dibujar esta escena del Capítulo 55 como un retrato de Feyre y Rhysand.
