Ilona sat at a table by herself, sipping from her mimosa and scrolling through her phone. She knew she should be socializing, but she was trying to catch up with what was happening back in Hungary. As she scrolled, she saw a shadow fall across her phone. She looked up. “Yes” she said. “Did you need something?”

                                                       It wasn’t his normal post, yet there Taro was, behind the counter bartending for this brunch. The regular staff members knew better than to question him lest they wanted to meet an untimely end. And for those few on the guestlist that had an inkling of his actual occupation, they surely would not knowingly accept a drink from him, but being surrounded by other guests would also surely make the denial of any drinks served to them suspicious. Capitalizing on that fact, Taro welcomed the next guest at the counter with a cheeky smile, whether they were willing to see him or not. “What do you fancy having?” 

Ilona smiled back at the bartender. “I’ll have a mimosa, please” she said. She was a sucker for cocktails. And mimosas were always fashionable for brunch. “Who did you piss off to get this shift?” she asked. She doubted most bartenders enjoyed working during the day.

“I do love the smell of fresh flowers” said Ilona. “They remind me of home. Do you have many beautiful gardens where you’re from?”

Romola was grateful to find some time alone, without the constant chatter and claustrophobia inside. Lighting up a cigarette, she took a long drag, staring at the sky. Distracted by her thoughts, she was startled at the sound of someone nearby. She almost jumped but gave them a faint smile. “Nice weather, isn’t it?”

“Sorry” said Ilona. “I didn’t meant to scare you.” She smiled and nodded her head. “It is rather beautiful out here. The flowers are nice this time of year.”

&&. announcing her royal highness, ( ilona erika vass ), the ( 31 ) year old ( princess ) of ( hungary ). she is often confused with ( alexandra daddario ). some say that she is ( stubborn and impulsive ), but she is actually ( brave and strong ). ( ilona ) is arranged to marry ( shay mitchell/troian bellasario/ask player ).

She’s the oldest child of the Hungarian kind and queen, making her heir to the throne.

When she was born, her father was disappointed that his heir was a girl and tried to have the succession law in Hungary changed from an  absolute primogeniture (first child inherits) to a male-preference primogeniture (first son inherits).

Obviously he failed and he’s been cold towards her his whole life. She’s not particularly fond of him either.

Her mother, the queen, took on the job of seeing that her daughter was provided with the education and training she would need to one day run her country.

Despite all her training, she can make impulsive decisions or be stubborn once she’s made up her mind.

She is brave and strong, both emotionally and physically. She served in the military, hoping it would help win her some of her father’s love (it didn’t).

She’s bisexual and has dated men in the past, but she heavily prefers females.

I love to travel, and I think being whisked away somewhere for a vacation is a pretty amazing date. But, I’m really into the basic movie and dinner. It’s not where you are but who you’re with that really matters.
