Hello ! I’ve been a fan of your au for a long time now, and it’s great to see you’re "back"! Do you have any concept or spoiler art that were never posted ? :0
DO WE! And by “we” I mean Sol, she was obsessed with River so there are tons of cool art of them we just couldn’t post because they showed River’s face and that’s was a massive spoilers. Sadly I am very old school, so not only my sketches are in paper instead of digital which means my concept art looks pretty dirty after three years of pencil stains, but I also had a tendency to only sketch what I was sure to post, so... not many thing on my side. What I do have are the concepts for Tyrant Purple, the swapfell version of Royal Blue we developed for fun. I never finished the lineart because, really, screw linearts:
Some things about Tyrant Purple:
* Chara is a cinnamon roll, because honestly our Underswap Chara was a psychopath and the last thing Swapfell needs is another one of those. MK used to be a jerk with a heart of gold, but after dying he became a ball of nerves, constantly worried and paranoid as Temmie. Frisk is... apathetic, at best. * Papyrus developed the habit to smoke glowing mushrooms to cope with the horrible life down in the underground, so most monsters dismiss him as an useless bum even though he’s probably one of the most skilled hunters Toriel has. He’s pretty friendly towards the human though, despising the idea of hurting children, so he keeps himself out of sight to make sure the order to kill the human never reaches him. * Blackberry (aka swapfell Sans) tries REALLY hard to act cold and dangerous like the Queen he admires, but he’s actually never killed before, since all his bravado does is hide the insecurities and fears he constantly feels, and once the human refuses to fight him even after being badly injured, he starts questioning all the rules of the Underground, wondering if maybe there could be a better way of life. * Toriel is a full-fledged tyrant with an understandable purpose. After witnessing monsters dying and killing each other for years out of desperation, she seized control and put order into the chaos by scaring their subjects into submission through power and violence, convinced that fear is the only way a hopeless society like theirs could fall in line and survive. * Asgore isn’t downright murderous like most monsters but he cares very little for what happens to others, at least until Chara manages to remind him what it was like to feel the need to protect. He has a huge burn mark on the side of his face and a broken horn, both obtained when he challenged (and lost against) Toriel for the throne after their children died. He lives in exile, a “mercy” the Queen so gracefully allowed. That’s all I have at hand but I’ll try to look through the old note books and see what I can find later. Man, this feels nostalgic.
