In honor of Halloween (and Día de los Muertos), here are Muffet and Papyrus' Halloween costumes! They reflect their heritages. Muffet is a Deutsch-François Duchess, and Papyrus is an Anglo-Latin Calaca! He's even using his hands as castanets!

Hello! I do apologize—I received your submission and I’ve tried to post it, but Tumblr isn’t letting me for some reason. Try re-submitting, if you’re able.

Unfortunately, though, I’m not really involved in the Undertale fandom personally anymore. Granted, I’m trying to finish my fics, but I don’t really follow anyone in the community and I don’t really read fanfic or look at art anymore. I’m more of a fringe, fandom cryptid that occasionally throws fic into the pot, despite being wildly disconnected from the current state of the fandom. I just post and disappear, only to reappear when I have a new update.

But I would be happy to share the link you submitted for others to enjoy your work!

(Oh, and a head’s up, in case you dig through my fics. While I do enjoy Muffyrus, I’m not especially picky about the dynamics. Unhealthy or even nonconsensual Muffyrus is present in my works, so be cautious and check the tags before proceeding.)

Do you ship papyrus with anyone in Flipflopped?

Umm. Nobody specifically~ No. -w-

......Okay fine. This is sort of a weird gray spot canon and non-canon information but I ship Papyrus in this universe with only one character, and that is non other than... Muffet!!

Okay, before you all come to my house and break my knees, lemme explain myself real quick. Okay, so Papyrus isn't exactly... the best at relationships and dating... at all. But Muffet however is basically a single mother of little Baby Tuffet, working several jobs by herself and raising Tuffet at the same time, by herself.

It takes alot out of her and she is kind of lonely having nobody else to help her out at all except for Sour Puss (Burgerpants) and Toriel, but those moments aren't common. So Muffet day dreams sometimes of a knight in shining armor with a handsome complexion to sweep her off her feet. But that day hasn't came. But one day... Sans had an assignment from King Napstablook to do studies on THE CORE's mechanics of randomized rooms. But Sans insisted Papyrus take the day off from work since he's on guard duty pretty much all day and night.

So Papyrus and Gaster go to the Restaurant in Hotland where Muffet works at because Papyrus claims he thought Gaster would have fun in such a kids themed restaurant, but Papyrus actually wanted to go because he heard there was a ball pit.

Muffet was cleaning up the ballpit at the time (Unlike most other restaurants where they just rinse off the balls with a hose.) And Papyrus had his armor and helmet on at the time and Muffet started freaking out at the way this random guy in shiny armor and a dragon skull looking helmet just kept staring. But eventually it turns out Papyrus was just waiting for Muffet to finish so he can cannonball straight into the ball pit....... off of a diving board... Papyrus eventually went to the food stand to get himself an "AUTHENTIC SHAKED MILK!!!" and eventually Muffet and Papyrus ended up talking about how their jobs suck for their own reasons while Muffet is in a state of disbelief because she was talking to PAPYRUS. Head of the royal guard. A knight in shining armor. While Muffet doesn't exactly have feelings for Papyrus and Vice versa. But talking to Muffet is really the only reason why Papyrus would ever go to Hotland again, aside from visiting Sans at his lab and getting to New Home to visit King Napstablook.

Again. Muffyrus isn't 100% canon to Flipflopped. If you don't ship Muffyrus, then that's okay because this doesn't really affect the other characters or the story.

I don't really ship Muffyrus unless it's very specific AUs like Underswap and maybe Outertale.

But yeah, that's who I ship with Papyrus in Flipflopped.
