well, that had been — a pretty astute way of luring him out of the house. within minutes, the whole brotherhood had alerted him of the wailing blond mess sitting in their front lawn, yelling for him. & within seconds, john was bursting through the front door, dead-set on burning bobby’s goddamn hair off. “ you need to leave, ” he bit out, visibly vexed as he approached the blond. “ now. ”

bobby didn’t expect a warm (get it?) welcome from his former friend and had it been any other day he would have been startled and a little scared but he didn’t move an inch, not tonight. he looked up at john through his blurry vision, blinking away what was left of the tears “the professor is dead,” he said quietly, sniffling “you should tell magneto. ororo is organizing the funeral.”

Bobby fell flat on his ass on the grass in front of the building where The Brotherhood currently resided. He wiped off his tears and took a deep breath before shouting at the dark sky above him “Johnny boy, come out come out!”

kai held his arms around her, holding her so that she wouldn’t sink. “well i’m a great swimmer so that cancels out your terrible swimming. hey, i wouldn’t go to jail, this was totally in self-defense. besides i wouldn’t exactly say you’re teh cutest, ms. amy is still here remember?” he teased, giving her a small squeeze.

ellie had her grip tight around the boy and she couldn’t help but snort “how exactly letting me drown would be self-defense? good lucky making that hold in court. you’re kidding, right? ms. amy has a pig nose. and lets not start with the comparisons, you wouldn’t like it if i compared you to all the other guys in here.”

I’m in charge of arts and crafts today and I want some age appropriate company. Nothing will happen at the docks, pretty please?” she asked, pouting in a childish manner.

“rationally i know that but it’s an irrational fear that only strikes at night. i suppose i’ll have to live like an owl and sleep all day to make up for being up all night. are you kidding me? the only reason i’m here is because i thought it’d be like camp rock. i wanted singing competitions and to get serenaded by the lake by a cute boy.”

Kai stumbled backwards into the lake, instantly becoming soaked. “Oh very funny Elle!” he laughed, climbing from the lake. “You forget though, you’re way dirtier than I am!” he said scooping her into his arms and jumping into the lake.

Ellie laughed loudly as she watched him stumble and fall. She only had time to scream before he picked her up and they were into the lake. “You’re an idiot,” she said playfully, holding on tightly to him “You know I’m a terrible swimmer. Do you want to spend the rest of your life in jail for killing the cutest girl at camp?”
