Zutara Week 2020 Day 6: Affirm

Having second thoughts about this one because it is a bit more niche (I know everyone has their own headcanon for Zuko and Katara’s future together and this is just mine), a bit more indulgent, and SO cheesy; the dragging-a-loved-one-to-a-special-place-while-they-keep-their-eyes-covered-and-then-you- tenderly-tell-them-to-open-their-eyes trope for instance… Leave me alone; I couldn’t help myself. Haha I think we all know that Zuko would not abide Katara not getting an honorary statue if she was his Fire Lady. >.> This animatic gets in and out quickly, since I’m still working full time, and also at the time, I had quite a few prompts left. But now that I’m working on a Reunion Part II, I kind of wish I could have saved this one for later, but oh well, I gotta post for the prompt!

Sorry to spam with this animatic thing, but my friend told me that she had wished I had held on that First frame up there for longer, and considering that Tumblr picked a lackluster frame as the thumbnail for the main video as well, I just wanted to share a few frames that I actually liked haha Also! If anyone is interested in more content, part of my process for this board and channeling emotions that I wanted to capture was totally absorbing myself in music and AMVs! There were a few amvs (that I’m sure most Zutara fans have seen, but they need to be shared) that really inspired me. I’ve been in love with her music since 2016. Human Enough by ONR Adore You by Harry Styles (this would also work for Zutara haha “walk through fire for you!” come on… kill me)
