Pure CAS Lighting Mod for TS3

Features

This mod changes the way lights are laid out in CAS. The overall lighting is becoming more even and smooth now, and your sims will look closer to the original textures (e.g. their skin).

Compatibility

✔Work fine on game version 1.67/1.69 and base-game compatible.

✔Compatible with any other CAS camera/animation edit mod and world lighting mod.

✖Conflict with any mod that edits CustomLightRigging.ini.

Starting Sims in CAS (MOD)

I took part in a project where we collaborated with other talented creators in the Sims community to create starting sims for CAS. With this mod you'll get unique and diverse characters ready for your creative projects.

Features of the mod: - 40 unique characters (20 masc and 20 fem frames); - Huge variety of types for inspiration; - Neutral underwear in all outfits - no more wasting time removing unwanted clothing layers; - Neutral manicure and pedicure for fem characters in all outfits; - Subtile makeup enhancing facial features; - No accessories; You can take a look at every sim in this mod under the cut.

How to use this mod: - Place the file in the Mods folder. Since this is a default replacement, there can only be one mod of this type in the folder. If you already have a mod that alters the default characters, make sure to remove the old one before installing the new one; - When you first load into Create-A-Sim (CAS), a pre-made Sim from our collection will appear. If you’d like to see alternate versions, simply click the ‘X’ button at the bottom-right and choose ‘Reset Current Family’ to refresh; - Create! (Please note: These characters were created using all available packs and DLCs. While the mod should still work if you don’t own certain packs, some features or items may be missing.)

Now character creation will be even more enjoyable and convenient! Happy simming!

i don't know if anyone flipped this eyepatch from the legacy pack yet, but not doing it in the first place was an oversight on maxis' part. they made both versions of the reward one, but forgot about the plain one? so here, you can have the flipped version too. your sims aren't obliged to damage only their right eye. left one is a fair game too.

i've made it basegame compatible, so i've also made the original version basegame compatible while i was at it, for people who don't have a legacy pack.

I made this CAS room live yesterday on my stream! I was looking for practice with neon lights in CAS rooms and I ended up making my favourite one yet! :)

🌸 A UNIQUE 9-DIGIT "ID" FOR EVERYONE:

The 9-digit numbers following your name are to be used in the "TagValueNumber" field for the "SpecialContent" TAG.

These 9-digit "IDs" are unique to the creator it was made for. It is based on your creator name. They were made using a slightly convoluted system I devised to ensure that every "ID" is unique and that the filter list in CAS maintains some semblance of alphabetical order. These numbers can potentially be used for other things, but we'll get to that later.
