How do you feel about your King, Arthur?

.... Well, I suppose I can't say anything too unkind, because if I do, Yao will surely toss a fit. Which to be frank gives me a headache. Alfred is dense. Plain and simple. He lacks the wanderlust I'd find admirable. He's just down right boring.

Sneak out

Arthur tugged on his black boots and grabbed a jacket. There was no way in hell the Jack could keep him locked up in this stuffy castle for long. He wanted out. If only for a little bit--. He knew he had duties to attend to for the Kingdom. He knew he had paper work stacked high upon his desk. He knew all of this. 

But it wasn't going to change his mind. He was going out. Just for a little bit. He'd come back. After all, this wasn't the sort of thing the Queen could easily avoid. They'd catch him if he ran away. No doubt about that.  As he made his way through the castle halls, the soles of his shoes clacked against the stone flooring. The sound reverberating off the walls, only to fall upon deaf ears. They, the servants, should all be sound asleep. Only the guards would be roaming about. However, the Queen made sure that none of those prats would see him.  Once out of the castle, he made his way down to the docks and stood on the wooden planks, looking out over the darkened waters. It wasn't fair.. he belonged out there. On the sea. Not suck in some bloody kingdom doing the work that the snot nosed "King" should be doing. He heaved a sigh and stuffed his hands in his pockets.

I am going to murder that useless prat. Honestly, how hard is it to just sign your name on the papers. -sits at his desk before laying his head down on it- ..... Fuck everything I am going to the docks. Just for a little while. Hopefully Yao won't catch me. -gets up and slips on his coat before sneaking out of the castle-

More like forced into it. An arranged with  King Alfred. No love on my part involved  I can’t speak for Alfred of course, but I am fairly sure the feeling is mutual. I was a… sailor of sorts, if you will.

Forced?…That’s horrible…I always thought marriage was simply for lovers. We don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to. *Smiles a bit* A sailor? I used to be a sailor too.

No, it’s perfectly alright. I don’t get to talk much about it. Normally it is, but when it comes with the King, it’s not really an option. It’s that really the marriage that bothers me, it’s the fact that I had no say in it. Not to mention the Jack has me under lock and key most of the time. -he gives a small snort before rolling his eyes- Used to be? What happened?

Well being forced to do things is never fun. Takes away the persons right to choose. Why did they make you anyway? Did they need you for something important maybe? *He rubs the back of his neck, giving a small sheepish smile* I uhm…I fell overboard. During a storm.

It was either become the Queen or pay for my wrong doings with my life, which to be fair, probably wouldn’t have effected anything. I mean I did a lot of bad things. granted, dying would probably been easier than having to live with Alfred. -wrinkles his nose a little- Well, that doesn’t sound very pleasant at all.

Then I’m glad you chose marriage! If you hadn’t we wouldn’t have met after all. Besides, life is precious…it isn’t something that should just be thrown away, no matter what. *Sighs softly* No, it wasn’t. And let me tell you, death is not something you want to experience. I know first hand.

Well, I suppose you have a point. That's one plus from this whole Queen thing. I got to meet you. -chuckles- Far better company than Alfred or Yao, that's for sure.
