I made a little hat for this squash that looks like a Goose at my work admire it in its midnight glory before I put it on the goose tomorrow, update incoming 12 hours from now. I based it off of the bird from Kpop demon hunter’s gat but I think I made the middle part too short.

Side note: I have been in a silent war with someone at work who keeps turning Goose’s face into the bush so you can’t see the Sharpie eyes I drew on him last week. Every day I come in to work I turn him back to face the outside world in his goofy glory. This is an ESCALATION. Fuck you, Goose-hater. In this cafe we love Goose.

If I opened a fanfic cafe do you think people would come? Like a bookstore cafe but instead of selling books we just have like, iPads that you can log onto ao3 with? A writing corner? An art table? Daily events for different kind of fan works/fandoms. An omelet bar? Drink specials named after characters or ships? Commissioned fanart up on the walls that you can buy and directly support the artist? 10% of profits are donated to ao3? 20%? 25%? Actually good pride merch? Do you think the people would come? I dunno just thinking if I want to dedicate the rest of my life to this endeavor bc I have nothing better to do and I love fanfiction and breakfast foods.

I love how one of the only reason the plot of stranger things works as a story is because the mobile phone has not used (invented???) yet. Like no one knows where anyone is to get in contact with them and tell them what the fuck is going on.

Especially in Season 3. Because at this point, you’d figure they know the drill. But no, Hopper and Joyce are out stealing the Todfather and Steve is pissing down an elevator shaft and Jonathan and Nancy are investigating rats and the kids are trapping Billy Hargrove in a sauna. Like 80% of their problems could be solved way faster if they could talk to each other and share info.

This kind of segmented information spread could never happen in a modern environment because of our current communication systems. Idk maybe it’s because I became conscious around the time of the BlackBerry, but seeing how Stranger Things pans out I’m like, how the fuck did yall keep track of ur children??? How did you talk to your friends? What happens if someone was not at their house and you needed to contact them in an emergency???

Like if that was me in the 80s I’d be hanging out in a coffee shop listening to a (Walkman????) for 4 hours and no one would be able to contact me to tell me that idfk my dad had a stroke. I guess you just didn’t know things? Crazy.

I bet one of the writers for Stranger Things was an ao3 enjoyer who despised Billy Hargrove. They were probably like, “Y’all are shipping Steve with BILLY??? No. I refuse. Here, I’m giving you a better option. He’s even got trauma. Come get your breadcrumbs little writers pspspsps.”

And I personally am so grateful. Like, was I reading Harringrove? Yes. Do I think Steve and Eddie are infinitely better for each other? Yes

One of my favorite headcanons about DabiHawks/Hotwings is that Hawks loves Dabi’s staples bc they are shiny.
