Guys, there’s something absolutely rotten going on in the town of Steubenville, Ohio.  A fifteen-year-old girl was gang-raped by the town’s high school football team, and the town’s authorities and higher-ups are trying to hush it up.  This NEEDS to be read about, and the word about it NEEDS to be spread.  I am urging ALL of my friends and followers to go the link in this post, and help signal boost this.  This kind of shit CAN NOT stand.

Why is just saying the words “straight white men are overrepresented in pop culture” taken as an attack by a certain subset of straight white dudes?

No one is suggesting OUTLAWING straight white dudes, internet.

It bears repeating in all caps: NO ONE. IS SUGGESTING. OUTLAWING. STRAIGHT WHITE DUDES. FOR FUCK’S SAKE. “Your demographic is overrepresented” is not an attack on you as a person, and the fact that a statistical reality hurts your buttocks is YOUR problem.

(Of course the fact that complaints about this are almost always immediately followed by bigoted statements says an eensy bit about why you might have completely reasonless wounded feefees right now. HINT: IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE AN ENTITLED COCKBABY.)
