3/3/3 - 21+ - Limited Open Lore - Environmental Horror Four years ago, Stillwater was dying. The gold was gone, the feldspar mine abandoned, and kudzu swallowed empty homes while the rest of Georgia moved on without it.  Then the government stepped in. Selected as one of the first communities in the Supernatural Urban Planning & Expansion initiative (S.U.P.E.), Stillwater became a refuge for humans and non-humans alike. Federal funding poured in, businesses reopened, and new residents arrived. Today, people call it a miracle, but the locals know better.  Stillwater has always been strange. Long before the revitalization, there were places people avoided, places where nothing grows. Places where time doesn't seem to work quite right. Then, on January 7th, 2026, the ground collapsed. A sinkhole beside Feldspar Mine #2 exposed a hidden tunnel network beneath the town, and inside authorities found seven people alive—all seven reported missing in 1969, none having aged a day. Since then, the Hatcher House has restored itself overnight and strange monuments appear where none existed before. The investigation continues, but answers remain scarce.  Meanwhile, Stillwater keeps growing. You've come here for your own reasons. Maybe you're human. Maybe you're not. Either way, it won't take long to learn the truth: Stillwater isn't a town with a mystery. It's a mystery pretending to be a town.  Welcome to Stillwater. The kudzu grows fast around here.

Wide Awake - an original fantasy roleplay

Spring is delayed, the sun in Xyria remains dark and non-nourishing, starving lives and magic across Xyria. The first sign of withering magic on the magical nation came in small, nearly uninspiring incidents: a couple of expiring potions here, several failing spells there, failing broomsticks from the sky wasn’t exactly a common occurrence, though it could be related to a couple of bad spells going about. Then came a mortal cruise ship crash landed into the magic nation, bringing with it humans who had only encountered magic through the words of fictions and technologies that threaten to expose magic to the world. Could the Xyrian authorities cast aside their differences in the face of disaster to preserve their secret existence in the world?

Wide Awake is a high-fantasy site which has a focus on the demonic war that has been ongoing for nearly 2 millennial. The nation of Xyria is the only magical land left in the modern world and a sanctuary for mages and some demons alike as the rest of the world moved on with its modern ways. In the magical world, we have different plots going on, including a political one, and some danger lurking and waiting for a chance to cross over to the human world to cause havoc. We feature light activity and is open to welcome a diverse range of characters.
