Hello, I'm Riley. Riley Tower. I'm just another survivor, I guess.

"What a rabbit." She mumbled.

She stared at gift at the ground. She just thought of an idea. Maybe this person could be of help. It would be fun.

She ran towards the bottle and grasped it. With all her force, she threw the bottle at her friend hoping to aim for the head.

"I have an action!" She yelled.

Riley hadn't heard the stranger at all, surprisingly enough. They walked on unknowingly for a few more seconds, before the water bottle connected right at the back of their head. 

With a less than pleasant sound escaping their mouth, they fell to the ground, completely caught off guard. Their ears were ringing and everything was fuzzy as Riley lay on the ground, stunned.

As they tried to stand up, they stumbled, so they resorted to sitting on the ground instead, hands in their lap as they looked back at the stranger with a puzzled expression.

"Good, good, good!" She said.

Natasha quickly grasped the strangers face. Quite mushy, a little bit hard, too much fat, the jawline is unbalance, and face is too stringy. No, this person is no help. Today was a waste and this person was no use to her. She tried not to look frustrated, but this day keeps getting worse and worse.

And now she has how this person to get rid of. Maybe the walkers will come and take them away or scare them. They look easily frightened.

She took her hands away from the strangers face and walked the other way. “Sorry to bother, my friend. I thought you were of help.”

"U-uh, alright, but, take this," Riley started as they reached into their backpack. They pulled out one of the water bottles they found earlier, at first they extended their arm, but decided against it, and instead decided on putting it on the ground. For some reason, that seemed like the best thing to do. "There's something, then."

They shrug and hesitate a moment to speak, "You weren't a bother at all, you know," before turning the opposite direction, walking alone towards the dark field.

"Ah! I’ve seen people a lot lately! They just don’t know how to keep living it seems. Oh, you know, making people mad, getting the walkers all rustled up, and doing unnecessary things!" She wanted to go on and complain, but that would reveal to much.

She wanted to avoid any rash actions and words to scare this person away. They looked helpful in some way she could think of.

"Can I touch your face?"

Riley's eyebrows quirked at the question, "M-my face? Why do you want to touch my face?"

Sighing, they continue, "Well, I don't think there will be any real harm in that, so go ahead if you'd like I guess, but it's getting dark out," they pointed out, looking upwards at the sky.

"Are you kidding me?! You need to get out more then, my friend!"

She looked at the person. She head wouldn’t shut up about all these new ideas for this complete stranger.

"Well, it’s good you didn’t go to that party! It heard it was dead and full of stiffs!" She laughed at the joke. Really loud actually. No walkers didn’t even noticed the laugh. Maybe it was terrible joke? She didn’t care, but that means a fail hunt. Still laughing, She staring at the person wanting them to join along.

It took them a few moments to register what happened. Not because the joke was necessarily bad, rather, they hadn't heard a joke in so long. They hadn't heard a person in so long.

It mad them relax, and when everything happening eventually registered, Riley began to laugh.

After they finished laughing, they smiled weakly and muttered, "Yeah, I haven't seen a living person in, well, it's been a while now... So, I don't really get out much at all."

Her eyes brighten. Without haste, she sprinted towards the stranger. Her mind went wild with ideas with images for her new experiment and what tools would be perfect. She reached her point and stands there glaring at the person. Such a nice figure, she thought with her wolfish grin. She noticed the smile and lightened it down a bit not wanting to scare her friend away.

"Good! Okay, this joke has been used over, over,and over again, but!" She holds her excitement. "Did you hear about that big walker party down the street? Hmmm?"

"U-um..." they looked away for a moment. She had a powerful gaze, but showing cowardice would not be a smart move in this situation. Riley looked back as they stood with a better posture, looking into her eyes. They looked like a her, at least.

Then again, Riley of all people was no one to assume.

"No, I didn't hear about the, um... walker party."

Ah! Natasha saw finally a figure. She was disappointed of what she saw. The body looked healthy and it would seem it would put up a fight if she comes any closer. So, she fixed her tie and brushed her hair with her dusty hands and walked straight towards the figure. She didn’t care if they were aggressive or friendly, the walkers she called would help her escape if things get out of hand.

How was she to approach this person? Her social skills lacked, as she has been told, and this person might be rude. Oh how she hated rude people.

She throw her pot across the field towards the stranger.

"Bonjour, my friend!" She yelled. "Would you like some jokes?"

Such a perfect introduction, she thought.

Riley, being unprepared for a pot being thrown in their direction, took a hit straight to the stomach. They wobbled a bit and gasped, coughing as they held their stomach, but quickly regained composure. They leaned down and picked up the pot, brushing the dirt off of it.

"J-jokes?" they mentally scolded themselves for stuttering, they hadn't allowed enough time to completely regain their breath. "S...sure, I don't think a joke could hurt."

Not sure what to make of the situation, Riley coughed, hoping this wouldn't end up badly.

"Oh, come on!" She pleaded. "I s-swear! We have meat in our bones, you know! Tasty meat that you can die for! Again!"

Only a few have noticed, but it wasn’t enough. She needs more. She pounded the pot with her wooden hammer with more force. Maybe screaming would help. Ah, yes. Might as well bother these walkers more.

She gulped the air around her and ready the scream hoping for the prize. But then a noise. Not just any noise, but alive one! Her smile grew at just the thought meeting a new face. She looked towards the way the sound came from and banged her pot hoping for the attention of her new subject.

It was explainable, but in a way it almost seemed as if the sound... moved. They shook their head on the ground. 'That's a silly thing to think,' they thought, 'that doesn't make any sense.'

Yet, that sound, that loud, banging sound, kept sounding across the darkening field. Riley silently gulped, suddenly feeling as if they couldn't breathe. Standing up, as much as they hated to admit it, would probably be the best course of action right now.

Slowly, they shifted, slowly standing up with both of their hands up, looking in the direction of the sound, barely able to see.

BONG BONG! BONG BONG!

"Come and get it!" Natasha chanted. "Some big juicy meat making her way downtown! Don’t want the other boys getting her, now do we?"

On her daily hunting, Natasha called forth the beautiful walkers with her drumming skills on the worn out pot that she has used over the past months capturing good subjects on those times. They’ve been less active. Might get a new pot. The road should be easy spot for attention, but it seems they are ignoring her. Shame.

It wont be long now. The sun reaches to road saying its goodbye to Natasha mocking her day. How rude, she thought. The night is never a good time for hunting.

Riley visibly flinches as they hear the sound of clanging metal from far away. Or perhaps screaming and falling to the ground would be a better way to describe what just happened. Thankfully, their surprised yells don't appear to draw any walkers. 

'What was that?' Riley thought as they lay on the ground, stunned in fear. Even as long as they had been enduring the apocalypse, they were still incredibly jumpy.

They could only hope that their panicked yelp remained unnoticed by the person farther off.

Riley sighs, slowly rising from their resting spot. 

'I have to keep moving, I can't be here for too long.'

Moving with a slightly quicker pace, Riley stood up to retrieve their bag from the counter. The house was pretty scarce and had long been abandoned, but they did manage to find a couple bottles of water and a pack of trail mix.

It wasn't much, but it was something.

After slinging the bag over their shoulder, Riley quietly walks outside, closing the door behind them. Upon surveying the area, it appears to be clear, save for a few barely noticeable walkers farther away.

Riley slowly frowns as they realize they're mumbling to themself.
