has anyone come up with an au where, like, every time you fall in love, that person leaves a physical mark on you? and, like, it fades away as that love fades but sometimes you never stop loving that person so the mark never disappears.
and if you're with someone else, they might just see the mark and ask about it.
each mark would be different, but all kinds of love would be represented. familial, platonic, romantic... because it all really does leave a mark.
and unrequited love leaves a scar once it finally fades.
