hey guys... if you're transabled you deserve those mobility aids!! you deserve those special treatments!! you deserve those things that HELP your dysphoria, or even just because you want them! they shouldn't be gatekept just because someone is more "valid" than you. if they're meant to help, why ban people from using them?

transjewish tips from a cisjewish puppy !!

⭑ eat kosher .ᐟ

for red meat, the animal must have split hooves and chew cud, like beef or lamb. fish and poultry have different rules, but generally the animal must be not diseased and must be killed in a kosher way

you can’t mix the child with the mother- meaning you shouldn’t eat beef with any dairy products, chicken with eggs, etc!

there are more rules, but these are the big main ones. obviously you can choose how strictly you want to follow these rules.

⭑ eat jewish food .ᐟ

this is also an easy way to eat kosher! research what food from jewish culture you like. i eat loads of challah (best bread ever), but i also love latkes, matzo ball soup, etc. even bagels count!

there are tons of traditionally jewish foods!! explore and find something you like

⭑ shop at jewish stores .ᐟ

if you are able to, find jewish grocery stores / kosher sections in your local grocery store! this will also help you eat kosher and find new jewish foods.

⭑ learn some yiddish .ᐟ

ok so obviously you don’t have to learn a whole new language- just some words! it can help alleviate dysphoria and help you seem jewish outwardly

examples of yiddish words you can include in your every day speech: oy vey, mazel tov, klutz, shtick, schlep, etc.

⭑ celebrate jewish holidays .ᐟ

at the time of posting this, hanukkah is just around the corner! go grab a menorah (make sure its kosher!) and get celebrating :D

other holidays include passover, purim, rosh hashanah, yom kippur, etc

⭑ learn & embrace jewish stereotypes* .ᐟ

be loud. be bossy. love food. love your family. get drunk. celebrate life. ask for that jewish holiday off. move your hands when you talk. answer questions with questions. be dramatic. kvetch. curl your hair so it looks messy and textured. do makeup to enlarge your nose instead of minimizing it.
