All the dating advice I see that tells guys to appear confident by acting either alpha and dominant or nonchalant when asking a girl out never take into consideration how much more confident and appealing a man looks if he's smiling and enthusiastic when asking someone out. I'm dead serious when I say being a friendly jolly guy will get you way more positive attention from potential dates than trying to act performatively dominant or playing the nonchalant cool guy act. Smile, look excited, BE excited and don't hold it back!

It won't come at the cost of confidence either. If you look like you're excited for a date when it's still just a theoretical possibility, you will actually appear far more confident than a nonchalant guy trying to play it cool like he doesn't care. Trust me. Let yourself have fun and get excited. Dating should be fun!

Most trendy online dating advice talk about first dates like they're a nightmarish two-way mind game, which makes it very difficult for people to get excited/have fun/be happy throughout the process. Cut through all that bullshit. Don't do stupid shit like internationally waiting three hours to text back so that you can look unavailable and cool. Don't worry that you'll be at some kind of disadvantage if you seem like you like them too much. That's a foolish and unnecessarily adversarial view on dating, and everyone is exhausted by it. It's really hard to tell who's actually interested in you when everyone is playing a game of trying to seem coy, uninterested, and too busy for you. Treating someone with enthusiasm and excitement is refreshing in the current nightmare that is the dating world. Friendlypilled jollymaxxing will open the door to love. Jolly dudes are incredibly attractive to women and it's frustrating seeing so many young men get tricked into believing otherwise.

So fun fact about me, I love putting my own little characters in worlds I adore, usually I do this for tv shows and books and shit but today I bring you a character inspired by the world of Neon Barbarian by the amazingly talented: @escapedaudios

I fucking love this world to pieces and the passion Escaped put into it makes me just wanna om nom on the story like fine dining (THATS A COMPLIMENT I SWEAR!!!) I thrive on angst, it lives in my veins, as much as I fucking hated the ending (in a good way) it was so perfect, I know some people are like “nooo bring him back to life” but like have you considered… not? Yknow for trauma? 😏 I like my stories with seasoning 🤌

ANYWAY NO MORE RAMBLE: I’ve actually had this little character in production for about a year (backstory wise) and I thought tonight “fuck it, let’s design this bitch” I honestly am debating doing a video on my channel where I just makes ocs based in the worlds of some of my favorite audio dramas cause the ideas keep flowing, I mean these VAs inspire me so much, how can they not? So let me know if that would be interesting 👀
