Dog Days Are Over. K (Blade Runner), original character, original alien animals [digital art]

The man K has met has several animals at home. K has never seen anything like this.

This is an illustration to an unwritten and only partially invented fanfic in which after the events of the film surviving K, Decard and Ana go to one of the off-world Earth colonies with fake IDs and start living there like regular people who don't need to hide. At least until nobody knows one of them is a replicant.

The title is from the song by Florence + The Machine.

A Thriving Garden. Nebula. Post-Vol. 3 [digital drawing]

As the leader of Knowhere Nebula has changed the city, making it more cosy. Now there is a flower garden.

Inspired by the phrase from the Russian dubbing where Nebula says, "I'm gonna lead the city, turn it into a thriving garden" (instead of "I'm gonna lead the city, make it the type of home I've never had").

A Bot with Nine Lives. Murderbot & Dr. Mensah. Turned into a cat, Identy issues, Friendship [digital drawing]

Created in response to a prompt in the Murderbot Diaries: Mensah & Murderbot March AO3 collection.

Summary and author's notes:

In a last-ditch attempt to save its best friend after it gets fatally damaged, Perihelion transfers as much of Murderbot as possible into the only empty vessel onboard, a robotic cat. Now Murderbot is back on Preservation, because Dr. Mensah invited it to stay at her farm for a while, and it has a difficult time adjusting to its new situation.

I believe that most of all SecUnit would struggle with feeling useless because it doesn’t know how it can protect or help its humans in this new body. Eventually Mensah manages to convey that it doesn’t have to be useful to be their friend (Feelings happen). And after a while ART returns with SecUnit components and successfully returns MB into a construct body and everything is fine.

During its time adventuring with the crew of the Perihelion, Murderbot gets fatally damaged. In a last-ditch attempt to save its best friend, Perihelion transfers as much of Murderbot as possible into the only empty vessel onboard, a robotic cat.

Now back on Preservation, how will Dr. Mensah and the rest of Murderbot's friends react to this change? How will Murderbot cope with everyone seeing it so differently?

Exploration into the impact of the change to both Murderbot's organic and inorganic parts is encouraged but this could just be the whole 'character turned into a cat' classic fanfic trope!

Would love to see Murderbot with Mensah and her family, given that cats cannot really perform security duties outside of killing small pests.

Hi there. I'm a fellow Oros fan, and I have a question. There's an episode of Voyager with the 29th Century time ship and an Ops officer looks like the same species. He is unnamed unfortunately, but if you look up the personnel for the USS Relativity, he is there. Do you think the species is similar enough? I have an OC based on the two characters, and I just really need a second opinion. Thank you. 🖖

Hello! I'm so glad that Oros has other fans xD He's a wonderful character, clever and kind, he deserves all the fix-its!

I didn't remember that helmsmen character from Voyager, but I checked him up — and it's a very interesing obsevation indeed! Considering how different Klingons and Trills look in different parts of the canon, I think it's possible to say they are the same species if you'd like (local appearance variations — or related species as another option).

My personal headcanon for Oros is that his species is not well-known across the galaxy because they reached warp capability not long ago and kept mostly to themselves. I chose this explanation because we learnt very little about him from the series, and I like the idea that in-canon he's just as much of a mystery to Tarka and others as to us :)

If you choose to consider Oros and the Relativity hemlsman the same species (which could be true, why not?), you'll have more canon content to get ideas from for your OC. I wish you inspiration!
