he’s being perfectly fucking civil!!!
"And what is it my dog needs?" is a sentence I think about daily tbh
there is no seating configuration in the pig for early series trc that doesn’t make me giggle. like, obviously gansey is the one driving, but the vibes of the car change DRASTICALLY depending on who is where.
if adam’s the passenger princess (which. ofc he is) then blue is trapped in the back with ronan & noah, and those two are constantly on the verge of doing something drastic and dangerous. which leaves her with the choice of enabling them and possibly derailing the entire car ride or trying to stop them and having to deal with an angry and determined ronan lynch all the while gansey and adam are old married couple-ing in the front treating the other two boys like their rambunctious, no good children.
the other best option for passenger is blue, but then noah HAS to go in between ronan and adam or else the two of them will start fighting and then maybe try to kill each other with their weird homoerotic rivalry permeating the entire car to the point i think even gansey would be uncomfortable.
you say, vi, why can’t ronan go in the front? and i say, if you’ve ever tried to isolate the problem child by putting them up front, they just become your problem. ronan in the front is putting his feet up on the dash, he’s throwing shit out of the windows, he’s leaning his seat all the way back to crush whoever was unlucky enough to get stuck behind him (it’s assuredly blue). he’s fucking with the radio channels, he’s turning the volume up all the way on the worst song you’ve ever heard in your entire life.
so we put noah in the front. then the backseat becomes a warzone. if you thought ronan vs. adam with noah in the middle was bad, NOW it’s ronan vs. adam vs. BLUE. gansey is an exhausted mother of three, and noah is no help at all.
the pig is really just a bright orange social experiment, i applaud her

march to camelot #1: quest
It’s the season for treason (and romance) and what better seasoning for this than planning regicide with your best mate and captain (forever).
And as a treat in the next days @priscellie and I want to show you the additions we made (mainly in text by my partner in crime and fictional romance) for the book jackets we printed for display only at Nexus. NO, WE CANNOT SELL THEM (for various reason. Sorry! 🥲) I’ll tell you these descriptions and quotes are worth reading:
❤️🩷❤️ on the back of the book ❤️🩷❤️
“You don’t need to salute me, Moash,” Kaladin said. “You’re lighteyed now. You outrank me by a mile or two.” “I’ll never outrank you, Kal,” Moash said, faceplate of his helm up. “You’re my captain. Forever.”
Kaladin Stormblessed was not a man who trusted easily. After enduring slavery and injustice, shame and loss, there was only one man he could open his heart to: Moash, a brother-in-arms who understood his pain like none other.
Now, Kaladin has won for his men a tenuous freedom and a heavy responsibility, guarding the royal family from assassins. As he struggles with the burdens of living up to his ideals and proving the worth of his entire caste, a new threat emerges: Moash himself, whose thirst for vengeance drives him to target the king Kaladin has been charged to defend. Amid clashing oaths, Kaladin must decide: which act of protection is the greater betrayal?
(Meanwhile, Shallan balances becoming a super spy and dating a human golden retriever.)
“F*** Moash, but in a FUN way!” MARA J. SAAS
❤️🩷❤️ Praise for Sandra Branderson’s WORDS OF RADIANCE ❤️🩷❤️
“Sandra Branderson weaves heartbreak and heroism into a dazzling tapestry of betrayal and redemption. This is romantasy at its most gut-wrenching. I’m still crying.” Londa Fee
“Only Branderson could take a subplot about loyalty, revenge, socioeconomic inequality, and morally dubious choices and soulcast it into an unforgettable love story.” Brett Peters
“Move over, epic battles. Sandra Branderson proves the most devastating wars are waged within the heart. This book will leave you breathless, teary-eyed, and desperate for more. Like her characters, amirite?” Astoria Vaub
“This book severed my heart like a shardblade cleaving a soul.”Comment on Instagram
“Can I steal her keyboard? Maybe just the H key? Slow her down in some way?” Martina George
“I am breaking into her house to steal the H key as we speak.” Patricia Rothfaux
“Sleep is for people who don’t know how to have fun.” Priscilla and Marie
i kind of sympathize with Sadeas re: Dalinar in Way of Kings. if I knew a guy who was basically like a rabid dog barely contained on a leash back when we were launching a military coup together and he had a kill count of like 999999999 civilians and then he had a complete mental breakdown and then came back from it like "hey I'm Catholic now and by the way God Is Speaking To Me and told me the apocalypse is coming" well i probably wouldn't want that guy in charge of anything either. to be honest
"Why? Why do you care?"
Redrawing this. It was the second ever Stormlight scene I drew, from one listening on the audiobook, and I didn't much like it even before I got the kindle version and realised how far off my depiction was. So now, have a sufficiently wet and miserable Kaladin. And a very cute Syl.

It's alright Dalinar, babe, he got this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- image description: A loosely scribbled and coloured comic page with several panels in four rows of the scene in Words of Radiance in which Kaladin joins the duel in the arena. The background in the panels is painetd very patchily implying the seats of the arena with half roofs offering shadow from the sun above. The first row has two panels, on the left we see an agitaed Dalinar, in his blue uniform with gold and white trimmings, as he leans forward, hands on the wall of the dueling pit in front of him, calling out "What happened to us?", "Where is our honor?". A smaller speechbubble to the side contains the words "Honor is dead". The panel to the right depicts Dalinar looking to the side to see who gave that cynical commentary. Kaladin stands there not far behind him, also in captain's uniform holding his spear and looking very grim. The next row has two smaller and on medium sized panel, they all show Kaladin from the side in profile – as Dalinar would see him. He inhales like he is fortifying himself for what comes next. On the exhale he looks down into the arena with mix of resignation and determination and utters the words "But I'll see what I can do." The speechbubble for it is already in the next panel, in which Kaladin is gazing towards us with a mournful expression as he says "If this goes poorly, take care of my men."
The third and fourth row are both each one long horizontal panel. The third row shows Kaladin as he vaults himself over the wall in the foreground. Dalinar stares at him seeming very shocked. The panel in the last row is a top down view into the arena. Kaladin stands in front of six people, four of them Shardbearers in full plate all now turning towards him. On the far left is Relis in his black plate holding a big shardblade. Adolin kneels next to him in the sand of the arena holding his broken shoulder. To his right stand Elis with a shardhammer in a grey plate, then Adrobar in a orange one with a blade. Further to the right is Jakamav in his green plate and the king's blade, Renarin standing blade- and plateless next to him.
