what i had initially recorded as LOSS, the five of pentacles “Banish poverty consciousness” tells me that its always possible & available to me. in every moment, if i recognize it or not is irrelevant, if i feel it or not doesn’t matter. nothing changes this & in everything sings “i can” “i can” “i can”
so the cosmic dawn campaign is played with me (GM + one hybrid PC) and my partner (two PCs) so i can figure out how to prep and GM daggerheart before more people are involved :-)
it works cause i get to use my PC to nudge my partner in the right direction when stumped, since there's no one else for him to brainstorm or ideate with that isn't also the GM. it's more collaborative this way, plus he has full use of my PCs abilities and skills, AND i get to make discovering more about my character an actual plotline he can uncover along the way, just like a real table might !!!

for a while ive been thinking about how i can share more with you about my practice and process and i was wondering if there was anything specific you wanted to know more about? or a type of post you would want to see more from me? do you want to see inspiration i find?
i want to work on articulating what i'm doing to others without shame, so anything you want me to explain my thoughts on, or how i do what i do, etc. please ask! im open to suggestion
work session goals:
play with my idea of what it could be
discover what i haven't thought of before
sit with the discomfort of the unknown
connect the previously separate
exercise the muscle of belief
recognize the hidden message
practice following a thought to its natural end
surrender to the What It Is
listen to the cue of the universe
if i don't know at first, it is indistinct unclear thought which can always be clarified with curious engagement.
if i go to journal and im omg idk what to write about!!! its because the things i want to write about are blurry and i need to look at them further. give it some more thought, and time. sit with it, as they say.
its not that the words aren't there. they just haven't reached me yet.

it takes place in the early days of Yuwen, sometime around Mythic Time, in the capitol city Wildhaven-on-the-Lake, or perhaps just Wildhaven, where a very mysterious building has just finished construction. Funded by a famous adventurer known for his eccentric ideas, who claims to have stumbled across an entirely new form of magic, one no one had ever seen before, until now, broadcasted across the Veil to curious viewers across the continent, a tournament to take place inside showcasing this very magic: The Elysium Trials!
There's a legend i've heard: That at the very Center of the Center lies a stone fountain which pours an endless stream into an unchanging pool a substance so beautiful they named it Corruption, for anyone who saw such gloriousness becomes overtaken immediately with a burning, insatiable desire to have it all- all of it; unceasingly gorging themselves on abundant viscosity until they implode in a heat-death that renders their Spark forever altered from then onwards. They say if you were to truly see Corruption, you would understand the covetous desire to Keep and Guard. But if you were to truly see the Corruption, it wouldn't matter if you understood or not. You would already be turning to ash.
