I sound like a conspiracy theorist whenever I talk about this movie, but I am thoroughly convinced they wrote Walter to be the love interest in this film. Someone, whether it was an animator or a writer, knew what they were doing and I love them for it. Who knew a dumb pigeon movie would have such a surprisingly sweet romance in it??
