There’s probably a good reason for right handed and left handed guitars being a thing but I’ve personally never understood it because you’re doing a complex activity with both hands and also I know a right handed person who originally learned to play on a left handed guitar because he got a used one and he can play a left or right handed guitar now so if he could do that like what’s the point like actually

#left handed guitarists you have permission to go El Kabong on my ass for Not Getting It but #i've wondered abt that bc to me on usual guitar playing my left hand—the one that doesn't write well—does more?#or at least more complex stuff? and my right hand takes it easy at the end of my arm while i strum #obv it's different for people doing those crazy ass guitar riffs or picking (i suck at picking. right hand can write good but not do that)#but like strumming? where is the use of the dexterity this hand excels at?

i love how quickly the backlash to meta glasses has ramped up. like over the course of maybe two weeks i have witnessed the absolute devastation of the wayfarers cool factor. like the one sunglasses shape that's been iconic for decades is now not just uncool but has people actively avoiding its wearers. i picked an incredible year to get frustrated with large black plastic glasses and to switch to smaller, wire-rimmed frames. in any crowd i am in, i am going to be judged least likely to be a pervert. and quite frankly i should never have been in the running for that superlative

#i picked a dogshit year to buy a pair of ray bans glasses #the good news is that they're a light enough brown it's obvious there's no pervert spy camera in them #but so much for ooo weee oooo looking like buddy holly for the next three years until i need another eye checkup
