Bored, so came on here to randomly drop lore.

So enchanted items in the book I'm writing were made thousands of years before the event of the book when magic was still harvested by dragons. The magic worked on both blood and skill, so dragons were naturally born with it but needed skill to harnest it.

I might write about this era of dragonkind eventually since it is quite an eventful time.
