I love RM as much as I love the original, but I absolutely think the criticisms are valid.

In the case of show critiques, it's about making it better and not hate!

One example that I agree with and think is valid is Amber's voice being less, like, how do I say—robotic? I just think the criticisms of her voice are valid!

Another is that sometimes the show has a more mature theme, but sometimes Sofia deserves a break lol

Now I don't think the AI accusations are valid, this isn't criticism, it's just free hate!

Just a reminder, I'm not attacking anyone, just saying that critiques to make the show better are valid as long as they don't attack the producers because they're giving their best in this show!

just watched the sofia the first short introducing zane and his magic is just. psychological torture??? i’m exaggerating obviously but bro can just change people’s emotions to ANYTHING at will, that is not a safe power to give to a 12 year old boy

RM's songs are growing on me.

I'm not going to lie, at first it was hard because it's really different from the style of the original show, but after giving them another chance, the songs are starting to grow on me.

"Time To Shine" is still the one I hear the most, especially on the bus lol

But nowadays, "Now I Can Fly" (or idk the name of Layla's song), "The Most Magical Me" "Don't Worry, Be Awesome" and "We'll Get It Right" are some of the ones I listen to the most.

I didn’t like them as much in Portuguese (which is my language), but in English, I won’t lie—they’re way better!

BTW, RM never stops surprising me, I'm excited for the second batch of episodes!

Those three in the first movie are my weakness, I just can't deal with them.

It could be nostalgia, but I can't control myself in the first movie because its just so adorable.

I know that many fans ask about other characters like 'where is Vivian?' 'where are Hugo, Hildegard, Desmond?' and other characters.

But it's worth remembering that the characters went to DIFFERENT schools, and besides school, they have their real-life responsibilities.

They would probably only have time to see each other on the weekends if they CAN. Let's remember that they are royalty and many will govern their kingdoms!

so if they don't show up at the show, it's completely understandable. if they do, congratulations, if not, it's okay too.

(and I'm curious to know if Lucinda, Ruby, and Jade also graduated and also changed schools :^)

One thing I noticed is that the fandom seems to hate characters with a temper or who aren't like Sofia.

like Lani, Zooey, and Jade, and a bit of Hildegard.

what makes them good for me is precisely their unconventional personalities and how Sofia has a friendship even with their temperaments!

Some are not the Hildegard-type temperament, but I think you got the idea!

Royal Magic is underrated, the show is just as good as the original even without having the more mature lore.

I won't lie that I miss the mature lore, but the episodes of Sofia doing silly things are actually so good.

Those who talk bad about it haven't even lifted a finger to watch a single minute of the first episode!

The art style is just a matter of getting used to, it's like Miraculous, everyone talks trash until they start watching season 6 (my favorite btw)

One thing that bothers me is people saying that Jade is jealous of Sofia.

Like, no? She has anger issues, totally different from jealousy.

She's still a kid. "Oh, but Sofia is more mature" – not everyone has the same upbringing,We're talking about a kid (at most a pre-teen) who has anger issues, shouldn't we be more concerned about how she was raised?

Comparing the old design vs the current one of Camila, Zane, and Layla :>

Starting with my baby Camila, she definitely had a glow up, green just suits her more in my opinion.

And I also liked her current hair more, but the old one isn’t bad!

There's not much to say about Layla, she hasn't changed practically at all, but the current one seems better to me? In a way? Idk how to explain-

The same thing with Layla, Zane hasn't changed much, but his current one just seems a thousand times better to me (especially the hair)

do we all agree that Tumblr has the best part of the STF fandom?

nothing against other sites (except TikTok) but on Tumblr there are the healthiest people in the fandom, obviously it still has its bad side but I'm not talking about that, I don't know, I just feel much more welcomed.

btw just my opinion, not even on Instagram, where I'm online the most, do I feel so welcomed!

The people here really make me feel comfortable posting my art or my opinions!
