Couple of months ago Fujimaki-sensei explicitly stated in one of the interviews that Reo is, in fact, a boy.

I, too, want more canon trans representation in media, but sorry, not this time.

Here’s a link to a post on this very subject that I like to reblog occasionally! The key here is remembering that cultural context matters; the stuff we Western viewers interpret as signs that Reo is trans is actually more to do with how gender and homosexuality are perceived in Japan. The person who wrote this post does a great job discussing these issues and even includes a link to a paper on non-binary gender in Japan!

So, while I’d bet real imaginary money that Reo is meant to be read as gay, he is, unfortunately, not canonically trans.

I have a proposition for you all here. Many of us spend continious hours on this page daily. Scrolling, reblogging, making posts, discovering stuff.

I challenge each and every one of you to sacrifice literally one minute of it to write a nice message to someone that you see on your dash. Maybe you like their art, their fanfiction, their edits. Maybe they reblog rad stuff. Maybe you saw their cute selfie. Maybe they are having a bad day. Or they just appear and you’d like to write them something nice. Do it.

Maybe you’re afraid to sound stupid or your message to be ignored, but hey, whatever. You did something nice. You can congratulate yourself. And in 9 cases out of 10 the person you messaged would feel so nice and appreciated or at least smile for a few seconds. Thats SOMETHING.

There is so much hate circulating here for no reason other than “just because”, lets conterpart it with some positive energy because honestly, being rude is just so overrated.

Aw yiss Mukkun my whiny babyA ship I have with said character: oooh boy. I dont really ship Murasakibara much, I think the type he is would see relationships as too bothersome. I like him with Reo tho, because he can be sweet if he wants too.A BROTP I have with said character: Kiyoshi. Once they pass the initial unfriendliness thay could spend some really quality time with each other, I think. Both are domestic and calm, Mukkun has a somehow large family that Kiyoshi lacks.. you know.A NOTP I have with said character: unpopular opinion time - murahimu. I tried to get it, I tried long and hard, I just cant see it and dont like it that much.A random headcanon: He has a cat in his family house, big, fluffy old cat as lazy as himself that he likes to cuddle and put around his neck and always sleeps with him because its HIS cat.General Opinion over said character: I really should give him much more thought, because we are kinda similar and he’s not as slow and straightforward as everybody seems to think, he just doesnt care.
