honestly i would freak out about bolaire way more if i were hal. no, not because bolaire is a weapon living mask or whatever but because the dude has an obsession, an unhealthy one, and i wouldn't want to be the target of it

i mean it is... well, definitely some kind of a mess, but they are hilarious together on the screen and i love every second of this

so i'm not a person who usually pays very close attention to character appearances and designs (cause i don't think in images) but there's something about hal's design that i like very much for some unknown reason

he doesn't just look cool (everybody does let's be honest like have you seen wick or bolaire or murray etc), i think i would also actually wear what he wears because damn

i love this high level halfling mechanic that allows their friends to reroll ones too simply because of their presence

it suits orym sooo well. like, YEAH this dude has big calming vibes and can make you feel better just by smiling or looking at you with his green eyes, or even just standing next to you like a small living anchor

i mean i would feel safer. and more confident. fuck yeah :D

i kinda love the concept of the champion. not delightfully stupid alive vax'ildan with soul torn open to each and every emotion, but someone cold and alien, an echo. still caring deeply but now more aloof and even more weird. in a very cool (pun intended) way though

i dunno what about it, but i just LIKE the idea of this confusion at the face of something that used to be normal and familiar. mortal life. the champion not fully knowing how to even communicate (rightfully so) and vex being her and saying "don't be weird"

i wanna eat that. conceptually. i don't care about contexts.

i like to think that alma, derrig and nel all just kinda failed to explain to little orym that people are usually not supposed to be climbable. mostly because will would always allow orym to climb him

and now orym has friends who also don't mind climbing them and that's the sweetest thing and i love it

what sucks the most is the fact that winning fights with such figures as otohan, zathuda or luda himself doesn't feel like a success

things rarely do for bells hells

just think about how killing otohan should have meant no more deaths from her, but defeating her took fcg anyway. or how killing zathuda wasn't even part of the initial plan, they just couldn't allow him to leave. or how stopping ludinus only meant that the weight of the decision and all HUGE responsibility is now on bells hells shoulders

victories are supposed to feel nice. and they don't. they just mean even more bigger problems

like, no shit these guys aren't heroes, they don't know what it's like, everything they do doesn't feel impactful enough, even though it IS. there's just always more and more and more

vox machina: we're gonna defeat these big bad guys who try to rule and/or destroy the world. we're heroes and that's a big deal and we take it seriously (for the most part)

bells hells: the whole destiny of exandria and its gods is kinda in our hands, we are going to form the future and we're not sure how noble our choice is gonna be. that's a big deal and we take it seriously

the mighty nein: we picked up this dodecahedron thingy and then it stopped the war accidentally. no idea how that went through. we also picked up molly and then lost molly and then picked up kingsley which kinda also saved the world from the living fucking city. like. that happened. we were ultimately just traveling randomly finishing personal quests, who knows how the fuck we ended up here

ZERO serious attitude. they were joking about the dick of the main villain in front of the main villain and the main villain laughed. they have these "talented fucking assholes" vibes and i LOVE IT.
