How do I stay positive when things keep going wrong?
We can’t pretend everything is fine just to feel positive, but we can choose not to let setbacks define our whole story.
Some days, staying positive simply means getting through the day without giving up. And that already counts for more than we think.
A small tip that really helps: at the end of the day, take a notebook or a piece of paper and write down three things that didn’t go wrong. They don’t have to be big, maybe you got out of bed, had a good cup of coffee, or made it through a hard moment. It gently trains your mind to see more than just the setbacks.
And when things feel overwhelming, come back to what’s still within your control, even if it’s something small. Small steps are still steps forward.
Difficult moments aren’t your whole life. Things can shift, even if it takes time.

How do I stop overthinking everything?
Overthinking really thrives in idle mental space. When your mind has nothing to anchor to, it tends to spiral.
Try gently redirecting your attention to something you enjoy or that grounds you: a hobby, a small project, going for a walk, moving your body, anything that brings you back into the present moment. It doesn’t have to be productive, just something that helps you step out of your head for a bit.
Also, be patient with yourself. You won’t suddenly stop overthinking overnight, it’s something you learn to manage, not eliminate completely. Give yourself time.
