Inho would definitely be the spy for sureeee and Gihun would be the one sussing. It's been a while since I watched "Hunt". Special agents Inhun def gnaws my brain sometimes because Inho is just so unpredictable while Gihun is very idealistic with his worldview.

This is a request. Just a request. I have a lot of ideas for fanfiction, the problem is that I can't write and have no time. That's why I usually leave it like that or just daydream about it. This time I WANT TO ASK....maybe if you had time.. wouldn't you write it?

I DON'T WANT TO FORCE YOU INTO ANYTHING AND IT'S TOTALLY OKAY IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO

But here it is my very old and often clichéd topic: South versus North.

I KNOW WHAT YOU THINK but I haven't read this on inhun yet and I think people would love it. Inho would be from the north ofc and gihun from the south.

They would meet for example in the Korean War 1950-53

inho as a soldier (20 years old) and gihun as a soldier too (22 years old)

In the 60s-70s it was NOT THAT HARD to escape so then inho could escape to the south.

The introduction could be in the following style:

Inho would be bleeding, gihun would drag him somewhere and help him despite the fact that he is North Korean

- inho would remember him

or you can do it totally DIFFERENT

It's just a topic, maybe I'll write it myself but I WOULD KILL for you to write it

Hi @simonnaaaaaj That reminds me of "Crash Landing on You", very good kdrama. Anyways, I'm not a huge military/historical AU writer, but! Good news, I found a few Inhun fanfics that are set in more past/historical times:

The North Border: Gihun accidentally ends up in North Korea where he meets a military captain- chaos ensues.

The Silent Sonata: This one isn't exactly about Korean war but is set when Korea was under Japanese rule.

Moth to a Flame: Mr. Sunshine AU, Inho was a slave who escapes and becomes a Marine Corps officer of the US while Gihun is a revolutionary fighter.

If I were to write it, it probably would be a one shot since I'm super busy right now and even though I have so many other Inhun ideas I want to write, I just don't have time due to adulting.

I hope these stories can fill the void in the time being though and thank you so much for your ask!

Prisoner Inho x Investigator Gihun AU

A canon-divergence Squid Game AU where Junho arrives in time with the coast guard when Gihun was on the last pillar.

Knowing he has nowhere to run and seeing Gihun choosing differently than him, Inho decides to turn himself in, much to Gihun's surprise.

Before Inho is taken away, he hints the games don't stop in Korea, and that Gihun knows where to find him.

Because all the files have been burned and most bodies have been incinerated, nothing directly indicates Inho as the perputrator. But since he confessed to being responsible, he's held at the prison while investigations are ongoing.

Junho does visit Inho, and during this time, Inho doesn't really give Junho the answers he wants, but does ask about Gihun. Junho says Gihun doesn't want anything to do with him.

However, almost a year passes, and one day Inho was surprised to see that the person who came to visit him was Gihun.

Gihun had been working to bail Inho out of jail, because he needs Inho's help after finding out the games were worldwide.

Amused by his drive to continue chasing the organization, Inho decides to cooperate to see just how far Gihun was willing to go.

Thus begins their partnership.
