Memoirs of a Dreamer

  I have found myself to be lost in this world. Many would like to call it depression, others would call it lack of interest or laziness. Yet I know this is not the case at all. I am actually Lost. I try to think of things i would like to do and I find nothing of interest. If something sparks it, it does not last long, it just fades away to nothingness. I used to love, i used to enjoy things of all kinds. Yet, i have found a way to just smile and continue like things are fine. I wish to find myself, to explore my mind and lack of enjoyment. To understand the reasons why, and i hope you will follow me in this journey. It might not by perfect, but its better than the alternatives. So forgive me in advance for all the negative and the stupidity of it all.

After working on the Winter angst song, I wanted to focus on one that focused on Winter's resolve as an older sibling working to guide Weiss down her path as a huntress. That's what this song is, a tribute to Winter and Weiss as siblings, and Winter's famous line from the RWBY Volume 5 trailer.

Up next in the list of things I wish would have happened is Yang and Blake spending more time together, namely a date night (Rest in peace in your watery grave Bumblebee, you glorious motorcycle. You served your master well). Seriously though, Yang and Blake never did get a proper date night (as of V9), you can't really count the V3 dance, so it is just a little agitating. This is just my attempt to fill the void... in any case, this really is more "fan fiction" than canon, but I'm more than fine with that. Hope you enjoy it!

Hey all, it's Kern here... had a lot of fun with this one, and hopefully you'll enjoy it! I wanted to do a song that points to the similarities (and ultimately the drastic difference in choices) that these two characters have through the series. Winter tries to mimic Glynda a lot, even down to her teaching style of Weiss in the V4 trailer, but she doesn't have the ease of experience Glynda has at her disposal. As the younger huntress, Winter has a lot to learn, a fact Glynda acknowledges in the series... ultimately though, these characters follow two very separate paths, and I've always found it a little depressing that Glynda and Winter never got the chance to really acknowledge that, so I made a song of it from Glynda's angle.
