I am back on teh Ziggy now, so I just thought I'd let you know because i haven't posted here for 90000 years anyways.

I used to be able to talk to 20 different people on IM at the same time, while playing a game and watching a movie.

These days, one IM takes all my brain. Aging on the internet - it's not pretty.

So I've been playing Sims Freeplay, and sometimes I instagram the pictures and then look at the freeplay tag and I'm all "lol, you dorks are planning entire lives for your little fictional people. Way way WAY too invested in this game".

Then about 2 minutes ago I was about to make one of my sims be romantic to another one, to get them married eventually and I thought "No, she's not even good enough for you. I'm going to make you a HOT WIFE"

I'm way, way too invested in this game.

I honestly don’t know what’s more absurd - the fact that I just recited Poe’s “The Raven” in its entirety to my cat or the fact that she respectfully sat at my feet and listened..

I actually learned The Raven for a school arts festival (back when I was at school, obviously) but they wouldn't let me do it because it was "Too Dark".
