Advent

What does it mean to take hold of Jesus? It's a question put before us by my church for advent. For me, the answer seems to have surfaced this way.... To take hold of Jesus is to love the child within - the spirit within - planted at birth by God. To take hold of Jesus is to simply love yourself - sin, bad, good & ugly - for in the end it wraps into one and becomes the loveable being that is yourself, which is already a name known by Jesus. To take hold of Jesus is to be love, give love and seek its journey daily.

Subconscious

Subconscious streams into the very things your eyes see, which allows your finger tips to freely trace the objects you wouldn’t dare see to begin with...

And, so it begins - the battle of good, evil and livable things. 

Your sight becomes twisted by the inner workings of a grey area - an undeveloped piece of your mind. It’s uncharted territory and the mind runs between the hallways, as if it’s lost in a school daze.

This is the part where you decide what you’ve already decided.

This is the part where subconscious surfaces for air and you lose all breath because reality is exactly what you wished for - it is unreal and yet so real - I believe they call that surreal. 

And all of this is set forth in motion by some force or action - sometimes known or sometimes left alone to be discovered  - but still, we try and try and try to discover the purpose in our un-present, yet very present mind. 

We close our eyes. We blink. We breathe and grasp for solid things. 

Open to see all that we’ve been running around on - and once again the heart wins. Nothing is missed out on.
