How long have you been stained? I bet you can’t even remember the shoe that left it there, I bet there have been too many visitors to keep count. You watch people welcome themselves into your home, listen as they smash things against the walls and throw things to the floor. As they leave, you smile, say “thanks for stopping by!” and sit still as they wipe the blood off their shoes. You’ve gotten very good at that. Smiling when you want to scream. How long before your teeth are not enough to keep the sound inside? How long until it is their blood that is tracked across your home? I bet you’ll remember when and where you got this stain. I bet it’ll taste oh so sweet.

this isn’t going to be super clean and i’ll likely need to add or edit things later bc i’m still processing s3. but, anyway, as of right now, here’s where i’m at. while i get why it happened and i know some people enjoy the idea of it, i’m not interested in making allison, a black woman, a full blown villain. i want to explore and acknowledge her trauma and explore her going through that in sometimes not healthy ways, but i don’t like what they did to her this season. i also just find it disgusting what they wrote allison doing to luther. it was sexual assault. i know she does it in the comics, but this is not okay. i also just think it’s gross, and they didn’t think about what it meant when they cast emmy, to romantically link a black woman to a man that is often called a monkey/ape/language that is simultaneously ableist and racist. this is inexcusable and i will not being exploring this and hopefully never mentioning this stuff again.
this isn’t going to be like my main take of a s3 verse at all but part of me wants to explore allison rumoring herself to be happy and then being sickeningly happy that it’s worrying
