   “No, of course not. It would be a surprise though.” She hadn’t thought that the Doctor could regenerate into a woman, but it wouldn’t be the oddest thing she’d seen. Clara Oswald, now that explained it. “Wrong timeline then?” Amy asked, curious. She was glad to know that the Doctor had found someone after her and she hoped that it meant that she was happy somewhere in the future too. A small sound of laughter escaped Amy’s lips as the other girl slammed the TARDIS doors closed. “You should get back to him, he’s not very patient, you know.”

          “I guess it would,” she nodded, remembering how odd it had been when The Doctor regenerated in front of her. There wasn’t much of her trip in his time stream that she could remember, not really anyway, but if there was one thing she’d been sure back then was that whenever the Doctor gained a new life, he’d get younger. Or at least it seemed like that was the case, it made sense, too. It was a new life after all, right?  “I think so, what year is it anyway? Is he--- is your Doctor around?” Hers as well, but she couldn’t reveal that. “Oh please, he’ll be fine. Right old man?” Clara turned to speak to him through the door, rolling her eyes when he grumbled in disagreement, “Oh come on! You know I’m not going to change anything, have a little faith. And it’s not like you haven’t already--- you know what? Just wait until we leave, then you can do whatever you want. Deal? Good, great. He says it’s fine, do you have time time for tea?”
