[🐎] — “Uh… yeah, exactly that. Decided I’d try somethin’ new, ya know…?” She lied, going with the first plausible sounding explanation offered to her. More than anything she hated lying, but she didn’t need him knowing the real reason for why she so suddenly and randomly needed his clothes. And it wasn’t all that dishonest, was it…? She wore oversized t-shirts sometimes when she slept… “But anyway, what did I tell you about questions, huh?! Just– just bring the smaller ones, okay?”
From what she could tell, Micah was smaller than Kana, more closer to her stature, so that would work for him. She hopes. “And some pants, too, don’t forget those. Like… shorts, or whatever you think would fit.” True to her take charge nature, Georgia was bossing him around, even though she didn’t really have the right to. Sure, she was his boss, but he wasn’t exactly on the clock right now, and he honestly didn’t have to do this. And yet he was totally willing, even though she was being incredibly mean and confusing about it. Ugh… he’s way too nice for his own good.
But then again, she guessed that she didn’t totally hate that part about him.
“…Please? I’d, um– I’d really appreciate it if you could do this for me.”
Woah, so she was really going to cross dress? In his clothes, of all things? Kana had to buffer for a moment there, scratching his head as he kept his phone near his ear. Chelsea liked wearing boyish clothes, but he couldn’t imagine that kind of look on Georgia. She wasn’t girly-girly, but her clothes fit her just fine.
“Uhhhh..?” He says confusingly, not really sure if he should agree but he was leaning on agreeing anyway. This was Georgia. She might have gotten a fondness for wearing clothes like the one they found in the farm house, or something. Yeah, that was probably it. He was already going to say he’ll do it when she just had to go and say the magic words. Please, and that she’ll appreciate it.
That… kind of won him over immediately, book placed right back on the shelf so he can go ahead and prepare the things Georgia needed. He still didn’t know just why yet, but he was developing a sort of weakness for the female rancher, as well as a constant need to be a reliable guy for her. Of course even before he was already willing to lend a hand when she needed it, but this came with the intention of actually looking good right after. Goddess, what kind of selfish thinking was that?
“I hear ya, I hear ya. I’ll be right over with the clothes you need, yeah? So uh, expect me in a few minutes. See ya in a bit.“ He was already going over his closet, sorting out the clothes that were smaller in size and placing them all in a bag. He was kind of curious now to see what Georgia would like wearing his clothes. 80% of his shirts were sleeveless, but hey at least he managed to spare one or two sleeved ones. When he was all ready, he dropped everything he planned on doing for his day and went straight to sunset ranch and towards Georgia’s farm house. Soon enough, he’ll be there knocking and waiting outside the doors, bag full of clothes in hand.
The poor blond had little idea of what was really going on as Georgia spoke to some stranger on the phone. Was that her friend? Family member? Fingers nervously held onto the blanket covering him as he awaited for the call to end. He felt absolutely awful for making her lie to whoever that was on the other end... But explaining that a boy fell into her house would probably make her sound crazy wouldn’t it?
Part of him wanted to apologize, but he could not find the words to do so. Eyes would only glance towards the floor as he wondered what was going to happen. He was an amnesiac who fell out of the sky! This was going to become like starting a whole new life wasn’t it? Thoughts would cease as a noise caught his attention.
The knock at the door startled him, feeling as though it had come too soon. He wasn’t sure what instinct had kicked in but he ended up scurrying to the other room with the blanket covering him as he moved. It seemed like he was intent on hiding in the other room while the other was here, almost as if he was being cautious... Or maybe hiding the fact Georgia told a few fibs.
