Fire(works) and Water

After watching fireworks with Pia for a while, Leia told her she had something to do for the rest of the show. She parted ways with her friend to meet up with her friend and neighbor, Raven. Leia was really excited to her, not that she wasn’t excited to see Pia. It’s just that Leia didn’t see her red-headed friend from school as often as she’d like.

Away from the crowds and away from any wandering eyes, Leia soared through the water to the discreet location she hand picked. Past the point the land people would go, a burst of green out of the water where the sand turned to stone.

Leia was afraid she was late, but there was no sight of Raven. Maybe she forgot...or she didn’t didn’t see the note I slipped under her door...or she did and she ignored it. Her head continued to fill with thoughts of worry as she waited, crossing her arms over a large rock and resting her head on them.

[BttP] Lunchtime || Raven & Phillip

The bell rung, signalling that it was time for the first lunch to begin.  Along with the rest of the teenagers at St. Hermelin, Phillip found himself rushing down to the cafeteria, hoping to spend as much of his new-found freedom as he could down there.  Normally, the boy sat at a table with a couple of his friends, but today was different.

It all started when one day, demand for seats at the table he normally table he sat at were pretty high, so with him buying his lunch today chances were he wasn’t going to have a seat once he made it through the line.  And, like as predicted, he didn’t have a seat.  He had looked around the cafeteria for a new place to sit when he settled on a table with a girl named Raven.  

Now, the only way Phillip really knew Raven before this was through the couple classes they had together, most of which were spent with Raven copying his work.  He hadn’t really talked to her before then.  Now the two were at least on talking terms.  Phillip was actually pretty positive that Raven saw him as a nuisance, but there was something about Raven that struck Phillip, leaving him curious about her.  So now every Tuesday, Phillip took it upon himself to sit with Raven.

And, guess what day it was.

Phillip took his lunch box and sat in his usual spot across from the girl.  “Hey, Raven.” he gave the girl a smile, hoping to lighten the mood.  “How’s class today?”

[BTTP] Fish Out of Water

Her first day of school! Leia was so excited but scared. So extremely scared. Everything was so completely new! Land school was nothing like the school Leia knew. There were so many students and such a huge building! How would she find her class? Why did she agree to do this?

Leia successfully got lost in the crowded hallway and quickly found herself alone. Everything was moving so fast! She couldn’t keep up. I can’t do this. I can’t do this. A red curtain of hair appeared like a light at the end of the tunnel.

A tall girl with long, red hair in all black appeared from around a corner and started walking in the direction opposite Leia. Woah, she looks cool! Maybe she can help me. Leia ran to catch up to the redhead, trying not to trip. She was still pretty new to walking, afterall.

“Excuse me, Miss? Do you know where I can find room 104?” The girl either couldn’t hear Leia or was ignoring her. Leia chose to disregard the latter. She probably just didn’t hear her.

“Miss! Hello???” Why isn’t she answering? Maybe she can’t hear. Leia decided to try a different approach and placed her hand on the girl’s shoulder.
