since  her  apparent  death,  exhaustion  marks  her  very  bones.  each  step  costs  her  more  than  it  is  worth  ;  and  sleep  offers  little  rest.  ‘  i’m  so  ...  fuckin’  TIRED.  ’  complaint  is  uttered  mere  seconds  before  she  gives  up,  lets  herself  fall  onto  the  ground.  if  she  remains  here  for  the  foreseeable  future,  would  she  be  able  to  feel  RESTED  ?

D I R T  rustles  within  her  lungs  every  time  she  takes  a  breath  ;  air  freezing  her  insides.  has  breathing  always  HURT  this  much  ?  every  inch  of  lindsey’s  skin  feels  too  tight,  a  human  costume  several  sizes  too  small.  she  hears  the  sound  of  her  ragged  breathing,  drowning  out  most  other  sounds  surrounding  her  -  not  many  to  begin  with.  moon  hangs  high  up  in  the  sky  as  she’s  walking  down  the  street,  hair,  clothes  and  skin  stained  with  earth.  all  she  wants  is  a  glass  of  water,  is  that  so  hard  to  come  by  ?
