Against the Clock is a series on FACT TV where we give an artist 10 minutes in the studio and see what they come up with. In some Against the Clocks, the artists focuses on the finished beat, adding elements step by step. Others – KiNK, Mathew Jonson – are as much about the process, and Ansome falls into the second bracket. The South London-based producer, who’s released a series of belting techno 12″s over the last year or so, has one hell of a studio, complete with modular synthesiser, and he utilises it to full effect here.
