This question has more weight to it than she expected. Because there’s more for her to think about to answer it. If she were to be upfront, she would not consider herself a good person. She’s done irredeemable things, and for a while, kept her eyes shielded from things she needed to face. She did not feign ignorance but she actively pushed it from her sight of view only for it to come back to haunt her in the end.

“I don’t know.” She answers quietly. “I haven’t always done good as I try to do now. But I don’t think that the effort I have put in now should be consider obsolete.” She shrugs her shoulders.

“The best that I could say is that I was a bad person who is now learning to be better. But even then, what may be good to one may be bad to someone else..”

“Of course.” It’s an instantaneous reply. She doesn’t need to think twice about it. For her to be so far away from a place just barely being considered a home with people who forgave her for atrocities she couldn’t forgive herself for? She’d be out of her mind to not miss them.

“I miss a few people, to be honest.” She adds. She keeps to herself that she hopes that they are doing well, but her frown may as well spell it out for her as plainly as it could be on her face.
