This made me so happy this morning. My friend’s Powerade bottle had “(Energy)” next to the calories. So important.
All of the food labels in Ireland (I'm studying abroad) have "energy" on them INSTEAD of "calories" Its so great!!!

I've been following you for a couple months and I saw that my picture about women and bra sizes came up on my dash. So proud that I picked a good blog to follow :)
This made my day. I’m glad I am a good blog and you enjoy it everyday. Ps the photo is a great pic and message :)
Okay
So. My feet were hurting pretty badly and so I stopped running for a couple days. I went for a run after that and they STILL killed so I finally went to a doctor who told me that I did not have stress fractures, but that it looked like (based off what I told him and the X-rays of my little feeties) that I was headed that way. In lieu of the fact that I am studying abroad I took this information to mean that I should not be running. The last thing I want is to be injured in Europe when I'm walking everywhere. In the meantime I've started lifting as a replacement to my usual exercise. Running isn't in the cards for me right now I guess!
Longggg
I'm almost the heaviest I've ever been right now(I've lost a couple pounds the past couple weeks). Mostly because I stopped caring for most of summer. Not making dance team at the end of the school year and a really rough finals week put me into kind of a crappy mentality and I've been stressed all summer getting ready for study abroad and sooooo here I am. I've been trying the past couple months but the weight just bareeeeeely comes off. Partly cause my mom likes to cook with butter and partly cause I need to be more disciplined and partly cause I need to be lifting weights. I can't wait to get back to school where I'll have access to a gym so I can start lifting again. My body progresses so much faster and responds so much better when I incorporate heavy lifting into my workout routine. Positive note though...I've made a lot of progress this summer with loving my body. I may be heavier, but I'm a babe ;). My far-reaching goal for study abroad is to lose 40 pounds by the time I come back on December 20th. That's reallllly pushing it, I know, so my more reachable goal is 20 pounds. I'd like to break into the 160s again at least :). And!! I won't have a scale abroad unless there's one at the gym so I won't be able to weigh myself obsessively which is GOOD! Okay, done.
Day 9??? My favorite method of running is going directly away from my house the distance I want to run (2 miles today) cause then it's like oh??!? You're tired now???? Wanna stop??? Too bad cause you're two miles from home!! The faster you go the sooner you can rest. Mind games. So I ran 3 miles, walked one.
How academic of a person are you, exactly? Bc I'm applying to colleges this fall and I saw that seton hall has almost a 90% acceptance rate...
I’m not sure how I’m supposed to answer this. My GPA in high school was a 3.85? I maintained As all throughout my schooling in honors and APs with the occasional B+ in a class I hated? Not sure what you’re trying to say or prove.
Note: A lot of smaller Big East schools are known to be academically challenging and therefore tend to attract only those who want to continue to be challenged and think they have a high chance of getting into that particular school. I attend a similar school where the acceptance rate is high at something like 80% but the average GPA for incoming freshman in well over 3.8. Boom. Smarts.
10 miles on a bike and a 1 mile run on day 7! Day 8. I decided to see how fast I could go and just did a mile. I made it under 10 minutes which is great for me! :) I'm trying to get into morning runs as opposed to evening as well
Good for you for getting back out there! Happy running, love :)
You're a gem. The roads have missed me. Thanks so much! :)
AHEM.
Due to unforeseen stress and life and extremely sore feet I ~obviously~ have not been running every day. Here's to 3 miles on my new day SIX!
