Lupine Morning by Timoshenko Viacheslav
Listen. You ARE nature. Youâre an entire ecosystem. Your flesh sculpted from the dirt. Your blood brewed from rain water. Thousands of creatures living inside of you, on your skin, who wouldnât be alive without you just like you wouldnât be either without them. You are born from the forest and the sea. Be kind to yourself.

I canât begin to express how much I adore foggy and misty weather. Itâs as if a spell is put on everything around you and you can only see so far ahead. Itâs like being in a cloud. Every now and then voices waft through the veil and sometimes shapes emerge. When I could see the fog out of the window in the morning, I immediately insisted to go for a walk. And I think it was worth every minute of my time. There is a hillfort in this area. On a clear day you get a great view far into the Scottish Highlands. On a day like this you canât even see the forest that surrounds the hillfort. Itâs almost as if everything else ceases to exist. To some people the idea of getting lost in the fog may be disconcerting, but I find it exciting. A place Iâm totally familiar with can look completely different and new all of a sudden. There is a reason why my blog is called âOn Misty Mountainsâ after all.Â
This walk features in my June Vlog.

who wants to come with me to pick wildflowers in a late august thunderstorm where our hair clings to our necks and our thin flowing dresses grow sheer and raindrops rest on our eyelashes and our toes dig into the mud and the lavender glows through the mist and everything seems eerie but also so calm
âFlowers were her natural allies, like trees, fruit and animalsâeverything that grows, sways in the wind, bites and hides. She was one of them, on their side.â
