not sure how many people from AO3 are here but i know at least one or two are; i know the original plan was to update at least one chapter a week on my Rowdy fanfic, since it’s still only going to be a relatively short fic, but my mental health took a bit of a downturn so it might be a bit longer before i feel well enough to work on fics again! hopefully not too long though.

“I’ll just quickly block in the colours,” I said - “It’ll only be a quick little doodle,” I said… And yet here we are anyway! This was an attempt at abstraction, which ended up being insufficiently abstract for school so I decided it would be sufficiently something-else. Sufficiently colourful? Sufficiently dramatic? Sufficiently Dirk? What do you think? Anyway, don’t ask me about why he has wings and a halo. Most things I touch grow wings, it seems. The electric-shiny-crackle-lines do have some meaning however; I was trying to incorporate the “everything is connected” concept - do you think it worked? Honestly I’m starting to love doodling things on paper then colouring them digitally - the aesthetic is kind of sweet. :) And it prevents me from being too perfectionist about the base drawing - though we can’t say that for the colouring stage… I hope you have a great week! It seems like Bart has never had chance to interact with other projects (based on s1e02, when she mentioned blackwing. maybe blackwing didn’t wanna take the risk of the other projects being killed or something?) the thought that little Bart being alone all the time makes me so sad……
